    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

On something Rich said about a flora area started ...I think that would be pretty cool as Plants are my #1 interest [used to have the most extensive species collection of orchids in Naples now I am raising lady slippers up here, 7 different species and some jewel orchids]

And which one would that be? The thread YOU told us to create taking ALL issues in the leo forum to the BOI?! How would warning points even be applicable? (Serious Question)
 
rich not beating a dead horse or dragging one out but using my particular scenario as an example of "favoritism" and "selective enforcement" nothing more ..... i think youre just irritated because i was "mean" LOL and even those snyde commnents about mileages just rolled of my back, good try (kudos, i might even give you positive rep points)... anywho i am not going anywhere i enjoy this site too much

Lucille, I don't think your intentions or hard work are in question here at all. I just feel that you should have to follow the same rules everyone else does, and be subject to the same consequenses if you don't. You are probably one of the most visible members on this website, and along with that comes the responsibility of being a role-model. Since you are such an active member here at Fauna, wouldn't it make sense to actually help Rich out by setting a positive example for everyone else to follow?

The warning point you are liable for, if I were so inclined, is for the one about NOT putting the name of the person or business the thread is about within the topic line.
 
OH! I see now.... What I should have done was create SEPERATE threads for Dan Poe and you instead of consolidating the leo forum issues into one.

Yes. That's why I said I wouldn't have felt comfortable dunning Lucille points for her post without doing the same for your thread as well. They both were actually in violation of the rules, but I understand why they were posted like they were. The warning system is really a way for me to notify people easily of the errors and violations they make. It also helps me to keep tabs on some people who are hell bent on just trying to pluck my nerves so I have a running audit on such things. Plus it helps when someone claims I have been too hard on someone if there is a public log of such things I can point to and show otherwise.

Agree 100%. And really, what's the point of posting a silly thing like that on the BOI anyway? To cheer up the place? I think not, it seems to me like a way to bring attention to oneself, since so many read the BOI. Sorry Lucille, my opinion, for what that's worth.
