This little girl hatched today (along with 3 others). I was amazed at how pissed off she was! Every time I moved she was hissing away. I eventually felt so bad I just had to put her away and not look anymore, and I could still hear her hissing once in a while! I know I just said that I wasn't a big fan of photo posts but with how much she was screaming I just had to...

And here she is NOT screaming her lungs out:

Here's the other two that hatched today so far:

hehehe...I had one that did that...would NOT shut up...lol She attacked anything that went anywhere near her for 3 or 4 weeks!

Ive had a coupel scream their heads off too, they are too funny when they do that!

Nice babies, I really like the bottom one!

!!

That is so cute! I can not wait until mine start hatching.

Nice!

Haha, that's such a cute leo! I can't wait until mine hatch. This is my first breeding season, so I've never had any hatchlings yet. Do they hurt when they bite? How do you transfer them out of the incubator with them attacking you like that? Lol thanks. Again, nice leo!

awww that's so cute :)

i've never actually experienced it the whole time i owned leos... i'm thinking about breeding, but i just dont want to scare the babies coz i dont want them to lose their tails :( never had that happen b4 :p

take care and have fun with ur new baby leos!

I haven't actually had one bite me yet, but I can't imagine it would hurt at all. They usually threaten and lunge but stop themselves from actually biting. Maybe they know they have no chance.

I usually just transfer them by picking them up from underneath and just kind of transferring them. As long as you don't grab them they're usually alright. I also never do it far or high above ground, just in case they get the idea to run.

Thanks all for the nice comments!

I've had a baby bite me...it feels like someone poking you....doesn't hurt one bit. I think Lost thought my finger was a HUGE worm!

Haha ! The screaming is one thing , but its the little bad-a$$es that would take off a finger if they could that gets me . LOL

Screamers

This week i misted one of my adult Tang females ( had never done that to her she has a humid hide ) cage ,and much to my suprise : Adults scream too ! LOL

She stood up all high and mighty (just like the little ones ) and screamed VERY loud at me .Then kept her mouth open ,looking like if i came closer i was going to get it .

I have had a few babies that were little screamers like yours. They are just big show offs, once you actually get them in your hand they calm right down. It is usually all a show.

Cute pictures, I hope you post more... :>poke2<:
