In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I love frogs;I don't have real ones but I have a few ceramic ones.
I saw on Ebay how someone had donated a frog collection- ceramic, metal, wood, all kinds of frogs, to a charity so I put in a low bid and amazingly, won.
I will let y'all know when I get them but apparently there are four boxes of frogs, that's a lot o' frogs.
Anyone else decorate with frogs?

ooo ooo I do!
My home is filled with them. Most of them are ceramic, but I also have a few wooden, stone, and cast-iron frogs. I used to have a 29 gal gray tree frog viv, and ever since then I get frog stuff out the whazoo from birthdays and Christmas. lol

They will be here next week, I just got the shipping notice. They combined them into 2 boxes that weigh approx. 50 lbs, that's a LOT of frogs.

HOLY COW......50 pounds of frogs??? That's one heckuva lotta frogs!!!

I don't think if I put all of my chicken collectibles into boxes it would weigh that much, and I have a LOAD of it....but then, I guess I may be surprised if I actually gathered it all together.

You'll have to post some pics of all of the goodies ya get, Lucille!

I finally got them and unpacked them. I do not have a digital camera so will just have to tell about them: There were over 100 frogs; I chose 50 and boxed up the remaining 50 just because I do not have enough room for all those frogs.

Pewter frogs, ceramic frogs, frog stained glass, a hand painted frog from Mexico, a couple crystal frogs, brass frogs, an entire boxed set of 6 musician frogs, shell frogs, painted stone frogs. Frogs from 1/4 inch to about 8 inches tall.

Realistic frogs as well as funny frogs. One pair of frogs looked ordinary until I happened to turn them over and saw (aack!) that the underside is anatomically correct- for humans, lol (yes I am keeping those, what a great conversation piece). A frog salt-n-pepper shaker set which I actually need one of those.
A frog pincushion. A sand dollar with a frog painted on it. A plaque saying 'you got to kiss a lot of toads to meet your prince' (not keeping that one, am very familiar with that concept already).

What a treasure trove!!

I almost sh*$ when I read that. I am so jealous I would kill to have acquired that collection. My whole house is full of frog collectibles from around the world. I though I had quite a variety untill I read your post. Good find. Keep bragging!! LOL!!
