You are right Vince , but after specifically posting I have fecals performed , and will treat myself UNLESS the animal appears sick . Also that any animal that appears fine will get ONLY a fecal and NOT go to the vet . Marcia then decides to state or imply that I have not had fecals performed and was just treating a $1200 Mack Snow without having any idea if he even needed it .
That is the furthest from the truth! Yes I am VERY defensive about UNTRUE statements being made about me since it seems to be a custom around here .
Biggest point i made is NOT stressing the animal when i can much more easily give them meds myself but AFTER finding out there is something to treat by fecal float performed by the vet . Please someone tell me who brings every single animal to the vet for no apparent reason ? Fecals for every animal , definately , but if an animal is healthy why stress it ? Why pay unneeded expenses ?
I happen to KNOW that i can treat my own animals just fine, after fecals, with the help of a vet (Marcia was more help in this case though) so no reason to pay extra for 'appointments' .
