    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

opinions on oscars

forgot to ask, i'm only going to add another 2-4 fish to the tank and then that's it. what's a good fish to add for color and compatibility? i have figured i have already used up 39 out of the 55 i could use in the tank. i do have 2 filters going in the tank as well for better filtration. thanks for the ideas and advice. i'm quite happy with how this tank is turning out.

watch what else

you put in tank so not to fin nip the angels. how about those ( forgot what fresh water family ) red-tailed sharks. they were about the only thing that we use to mix in. Maybe the bala sharks as well.

puffers are pretty agressive, they will probably nip at the angels

the gourami may also

i would have gone with the angels being the main fish in the tank, along with some corys, a schooling fish(angels eat neons, so i chose rasboras, and they are great), maybe a dwarf pleco, and some blue rams

bala sharks grow up to 13 inches, so thats a no no for the tank, red tails i'm not so sure about, both are cyprinids, but the bala is actually a carp

in my 55 i decided to go with a south american peaceful cichlid theme, Discus, Angels, Blue rams, and then some dither fish, like corys and rasboras
