    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What's the best project male to get for around 600-750$ I was thinking leopard but would like other opinions I already havecalico,clown,champagne,mystic,vanilla pastel,albino,Mojave,pied please let me no ur thoughts looking to breed to mojaves,pastels,spiders,fires,lots or normals,pastave,lesser females trying to make a higher end morph with either one or all my females lol thanks for looking
 
Leopard combos are beautiful! I love the Leo lesser! And Leo clowns! I have a big Leo het pied I'm breeding to an enchi het pied this coming season. I wish I would have gotten into the Leo's earlier.

Deff banana. Oranage dreams are nice but really like the banana combos! Just bought a clown female now we are going for a banana male!
 
I really dont know. You gotta look at what the demand is for the morph. I know that bananas seem to be more popular and even more available than orange dreams at least at the local shows i go to. Maybe means there are not as many people working with the orange dream combo right now which would also mean a better opportunity to produce some first ever combos that might bring a little extra cash down the road. Also keep in mind banana combos are not very cheap either a normal banana runs for about $3500-$5000 right now and some combos are going for even more so the money making opportunity is there for the banana as well. Even if the market price on bananas drop by half by the time you start producing. Then you gotta ask yourself how many people can really afford a $5000+ animal and if you can sell as many as you produce. Banana combos seem more eye pleasing to me than some orange dream combos but thats my opinion and other people are different. Goes back to the demand thing. How many people rather have a banana combo or orange dream combo. Gotta look at all the factors and make a desicion. Hell buy both! Haha goodluck man.
 
But remember price is gonna drop as time goes and more people are producing that morph. The supply is high that is when it will drop. Imagine how brian at bhb and kevin at nerd feel when they bought their first spiders for $25,000! Of course they have made that money back over time and you can do the same because that male will breed for years to come. Anytime you need help hit me up.
 
I would get a multi-gene male. I would probably combine some of the male genes you already have into one, or maybe with something new added in.

As for the banana, I would wait. After December, you'll see them in the three digits. There are way to many males out there to tell you were this is going to go ... Unless you see a female, I'd wait.
 
Banana prices have been held high while the people with the $$$$ hold them back. Now people are starting to sell them, and the prices will fall. This has been anticipated for some time.

IMO, there is only one person that can decide what you should buy - and that's the person that is going to be looking at the snakes every day.

If you like leopards, great...personally, I think the money would be better spent on a nice enchi fire; but that's me, and mine isn't the opinion that matters with your money. If you buy a leopard, I will warn against putting him with too many females. Over produce them, and you'll sit on them (which goes back to being the one that looks at them every day...)
 
I paid $25k for my spider many many years ago. I see bananas posted for $1,900 now. They make sick looking combos! I picked up a banana two months ago he was 80 grams now he's 400+ grams. They eat great! Gotta few pied and g stripe girls for him plus some co doms. Orange dreams are nice, OD Pieds are really nice. The supers are real nice, and add some fire and spider to that, that's an awesome animal!! I'm looking for an adult OD female myself. I might pick up n OD male too, just to make some combo females. If I had to pick only one I would say banana.

Wow and yes I understand its my opinion lol but love hearing other people's opinions and really it's come to I'm trying to decide between a banana and a OD I am really leaning towards orange dream a buy a banana once price stops dropping

I noticed the prices have fallen drastically as expected on bananas, this thread isn't even that old. Just interesting I thought.
 
After seeing how many people mass produced them this last season it was a pretty obvious outcome. Even if the sex ratios weren't skewed it would have been a mess, but the male overload really killed it.

I was personally surprised that the females dropped so much too, I thought for sure they would retain their value much longer based on supply. It's fine though, if females get down a little more I'll just have to buy one :p
