    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi im new here, I just bought this snake. it will ship out next week. just want your opinons on her. she is supposed to be a suriname. just wanting to see what everybody thinks of her and what she may look like when she gets older. I hope she has good color and keeps a nice red tail. I just hope I dont get screwed over by the people I got her from because after I bought her i started hearing bad stuff from the place i ordered her from. any input would be great, thank you.

Don't know too much about Surinames but it has the widows peaks and rich read tail that I know Surinames to have, quite a pretty snake there. I believe they keep the rich red tails but the background color turns more of a golden color, quite beautiful. What is your concern with "getting screwed over"?
 
Just a little nervous I guess. I have never bought from this store before and just hope she comes to me in good health and is a full blood suriname and is a female. guess I have a hard time trusting people now a days.

It is important to buy from someone that is reputable. If you have doubts about a vendor, you can do things such as check for threads about them on the BOI(Board of Inquiry), start an inquiry thread about them on the BOI, and call around and check with people that may have purchased from them in the past. If there is no info about them it doesn't mean you need to be nervous because they still can be a good vendor, it just becomes a matter of you asking enough questions of them to get a comfort level with them. No matter who you by from, you should always practice a quarantine of at least 6 months for boas by keeping them away from any other snakes that you may have. Hope this helps.
 
Boa4u said it right on the head. You should be comfortable with the person BEFORE handing over any money to them. If that is the boa you are getting.... Damn that is a nice looking animal!
 
yeah, I just joined this forum and didnt realize that I could look them up on the BOI. found that out after the fact that i ordered her. The person i talked to on the phone was very nice and called me back after I called him and got the snake for me and answered all my questions about her and I feel good about that. IM glad that everyone thinks she is a nice lookin boa. I have all ways wanted a suriname and cant wait till she shows up next week.
 
she came today bout 9.00am, she looks just like the pics. she is so small. I think when she gets some size on her she will be awsome! I am very happy with her. her are some pics.
