Familiar Exotics
I really don't want to do this, because this is literally my *sweetest* crestie. She loves being out of her cage and is very calm. She'd be a good "kid crestie".
But she just doesn't fit into anything I have going next year...
This girl was rescued by me out of a poor situation, but has recovered completely. She does have some crest damage due to her previous improper care (dry conditions), but it won't be genetic and doesn't affect her at all.
She eats very well on CGD, and weighs about 40 grams. She's very light colored, an interesting pinkish yellow that's almost impossible to capture on film. She really doesn't have a pattern, though occasionally light stripes show up on her sides in flash photos (like below). I really do have to brag on her color though - you won't be disappointed!
After a full recovery, I put her with a yellow brindle male with dalmation spots and reverse pinning (who is proven this year with really pretty babies). I did observe them breeding, and she has laid several unfertile eggs since, though that didn't surprise me as it's her first breeding season. So she may still lay fertile eggs by him, and if not - she'll be ready next season!
I am asking $140 OBO to recoup only what I paid for her and her vet expenses. Shipping is usually between $35-45 through shipyourreptiles.com. I am also willing to trade - no males, but anything else I'd be interesting in looking at! Gargs or cresties, especially extreme harlies, pinners, or dalmations. Feel free to ask!
Photo of the male (as a juvie) she was bred to: http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t130/juliethegr8t-ub/Picture138-1.jpg
I apologize the photos aren't better - let me know if you want me to try and get some outdoor shots. PM or email [email protected] with questions. Thanks!
