• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Rick,

Since, you brought it up. Why not address the issue in the below thread ?

http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86408&page=5&pp=5&highlight=Sisco+Reptiles

She doesn't seem too happy. I know you can't please everyone, all of the time, but you didn't even take a moment to address her concerns. Of course, your response should be in that thread, not this one. Thank you.

I go out of my way to make my customers happy, which is why I am not the subject of an inquiry.

I believe he meant to say "bad guy thread". In any case the thread is not about him.

Not for nothing Stephanie but this is what a TOS should be like.
Not the crap you posted.

TERMS OF SALE:

Payments:
Cash, Paypal and Postal Money orders are the only forms of payments accepted.
Short-term payment plans can be arranged with a 25% non-refundable down payment to take the animal off the market. The down payment must be made using Paypal to insure the hold on the animal. Payments must be made on agreed upon date(s) and in the amount agreed upon. Buyers will be allowed a 10 day grace period for late payments. If the scheduled payment is not received after the grace period, the animal will once again be listed for sale and the buyer will forfeit any monies previously paid.

Shipping:
Federal Express overnight to your door.
Shipping will not occur when temperatures are less than 40 degrees or in excess of 90 degrees.
Package tracking information will be provided to the buyer.

Guarantee:
Live arrival is guaranteed ONLY if the package is signed for on the FIRST delivery attempt. A signature release on file will void ALL guarantees.
In the event of a DOA, you must notify me immediately. If you do not notify me within 2 hours after arrival then you WILL NOT be entitled to a claim. Do not dispose of the dead animal. Proof of the DOA must be provided.
In order to have a valid DOA claim you must either return the dead animal to me using a prepaid shipping label or submit via email clear pictures showing the identity of the animal. If the dead animal is not sent back to me or if no clear pictures are emailed, I WILL NOT consider any claim to be valid.
If your claim is valid then I will either:
1] Refund your money
OR
2] Replace the animal if another one of equal value is available.

Delivery Problems:
There are no guarantees of delivery or of live arrival if the buyer provided an incomplete or incorrect mailing address. Shipping is done to the address provided by the buyer. The seller assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the address provided.

Health:
All animals are guaranteed to be outwardly healthy, feeding, and parasite free when leaving my facility and are guaranteed to be this way for 24 hours after arrival.
This guarantee is VOID if the animal is placed in a community enclosure. It must be kept separated from other animals during the 24 hour period.

Buyers Remorse:
NO refunds will be issued after the receipt of the animal due to buyer’s remorse. It is the buyer’s responsibility to research the care and expense needed to properly care for any animal purchased.

Seller’s Refusal of Sale:
ANY sale can be refused if it is determined that the potential buyer is not adequately prepared for the care of a certain species. NO reticulated pythons, burmese pythons, anacondas, monitor lizards, crocodilian, or any other potentially dangerous animals will be knowlingly sold to ANYONE under the age of 18.

I don't know what you guys are getting all worked up about, Rick's "Live Arrival Guarantee" seems pretty obvious to me. Your critter is guaranteed to arrive alive UNLESS one of the following happens.

I'm not sure how much more specific Rick would need to be about the term "Alive", it seems self explanatory to me.

"The Live Arrival guarantee is void & null if we are provided incomplete or erroneous shipping information or if the package is delayed or lost. Remember these are live animals, please be thorough and provide us with complete and correct shipping information so that your shipment will arrive at the scheduled time. The guarantee is also void & null if there is no one home to receive the package when the first delivery attempt is made. The live arrival guarantee is also null & void if the temperature reaches below 45F or above 90F on the delivery route, at any point during delivery.

Sisco Reptiles reserves the right to hold shipment depending on extreme weather conditions."

If the temperature is outside the range where you believe the risk is acceptable... don't ship. Denying your customer a guarantee when, ultimately, it's your choice to put the animal in a box is crap

I think that's an intentionally naive statement Seamus. You and I both know that if you sell enough animals you're going to have one moron customer who HAS to have the animal NOW, regardless of what the shipping conditions are. But Rick does address that with that line I bolded.

That said, since Rick is truly an innocent party in this thread and only got drug into this cause Psycho-Muffin plagiarized his TOS, why don't we just leave him outta this. Or has the blood in the water deprived all of you of your common sense?

OK, people. This thread is NOT about SiscoReptiles.

Back on topic, please.

Just a thought...maybe the reason for the delay in shipping the pythons back is so that the female can first have her babies/lay her eggs (shows how much I know about BPs). The female was shipped gravid with witnessed matings, yet I did read in one of her posts where she says the female isn't gravid. Just one more way to try to get something for nothing.

I was reading over at RTB about how she witnessed them hooking up after her post ovulation shed. I think she is trying to keep them until she lays. What she needs to realize is that she will really make herself look even worse. She says she is going to send them on the 14th which isn't enough time for her to lay, but if she tries to procrastinate and come up with some reason why she can't ship them then. We all know why.

I will keep everybody informed on whether they show up on the 14th. Digging a hole so deep she can't crawl back out.
