In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Say hello to Ella may Peach (named of course by my wife)
This is our first Dum and are really excited! Anything we sould be particularly aware of with that that is different from Balls etc. Have a setup of coconut husk/eco earth (baked for 30 min at 450 X2 - do it to make sure there are no mites as have heard in our Corn snake and early Ball days that people have had probs with it - we never have)
High 85-90 - low about 70
2 hides one warm other cool
UTH on thermostat
50% humidity average
water dish
grapevine branch and plastic foliage
Was advised that original breeder fed F/T and that current dealer fed live so was advised she will eat either or
have also ready ALOT of conflicting info on feeding. Some (majority) stating that they are very aggressive eaters and have no problems w/ feeding while others state that they are worse that Balls in the picky department (although again we have never had a problem with our Ball)

Thanks for ANY AND ALL INPUT - WANT TO GIVE THE BEST LIVING ENVIRONMENT FOR HER

Beautiful Dumerils Heath, congrats!! I don't know much about their care and such, but she sure is pretty!!

Nice looking girl you got there. As for their care, well, I never had one, but I can say your set up sounds like, what I've heard others with them, describe for the most part. I'd say you're within acceptable ranges, and as with most Boids, it's just a matter of tweaking things until you hit a successful median.

Don't know if it will help you any, but this link was given to me a while back. It tells you the annual average conditions of various places in the world. So if you are interested in what they may endure in the wild, climate wise, it's a pretty neat link, and has helped me with conflicting info in the past. The link below is for Antananarivo, Madagascar, located +/- center of the country.

Anyway, I'm sure someone who keeps them will roll up and pitch in their 2¢ worth.

Good luck with your little girl.
Rick

Awesome and thanks guys for the info. My wife fell in love as soon as she saw her. She was in a deli cup with another that was really dull browns and nearly no pinks at all and she glowed next to him like she was neon.

I was at that show. I hope they will have one there again soon, but with more tables and vendors. It's so convenient, I only live about five minutes away from there. I ended up taking home beautiful pastel hog x columbian mix.
