    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Last night I went to check the moistness of the pearlite and I took the lid off the incubator when I noticed dark stripes under the tupperware lid!
This is the first time we have bred leopard geckos so needless to say there are smiles all around today! (especially on the little gecko faces)
Mom is a Tang Enigma het Redstripe, Dad is a Tang Carrot tail.
I'm guessing the one running in circles is the Enigma?
I have RT's book and have read the chapter on hatchlings, but does anyone else have any special tips on raising these guys in the best of health?

My three biggest concerns for babies are....

1) Keep a humid area available at all times. Bad sheds can be a huge problem for a baby, and it's best to avoid them.

2) Keep a dish of calcium available. MBD is hell and a growing body needs strong bones.

3) Keep your set up clean and in good order. Proper temps, clean water, and a clean cage will go a long way in keeping them healthy.

Check, check, and check!

Would you recommend the repcal with D3 for hatchlings or without?

I agree with everything said so far. IMO I use just pure Ca in the dish, at all times, and dust w/Herptivite or something else with D3 and Beta Carotine in it. I keep my neonates on paper towels, dampened daily until after they are well established (growing and eating reliably). Then I switch to the humid hides. Congradulations! Those are some cuties!
