I know you are just 15, but how many warnings does it take to get it through your thick skull that we will NOT allow you to continue slandering Outback Reptiles. As far as I know your only connection with us is when you walk by our tables at Manassas gawking at our colubrids. I don't think you have ever bought anything from us. So what's the deal?

I know you're pissed off at the kid and have every right to be, but is it legal for you to engage in a business transaction with a minor child anyway? If all he could do is look at you animals because you wouldn't sell to a minor, what did you expect him to do except to walk by your table gawking?

And what do you mean by warnings? What warnings are you or your staff giving to a 15 year old kid?

And if you sold that snake to Shane (who would obviously be of Davids same age), I think that's a pretty desperate, stupid and slimy thing to do. I don't know many sellers around here that would knowingly conduct business with a minor. It makes for trouble as you can see.

Let's look at the facts here, shall we?

You (logging in as Shane) started this thread on 09/13/09 at 01:20am because you said Shane was out of town and sent you text messages that you used to type in that original message.

Prior to that "Shane" registered on this site on 09/13/09 at 12:46am, a mere 34 minutes before you felt you needed to log in here using his login info while he was out of town. So did he get called out of town suddenly at 1am in the morning yet had the burning desire to send you those text messages that could not wait till he got back home? It was so all fired important to get those words on the BOI that he asked YOU to log in as him in order to post this thread right THEN in the wee hours of the morning?

Matt, Ian G and Outback have been around for a while. It is true that Josh has moved from Maine to Virginia to work for Outback but it is completely wrong to insinuate the J & J has changed it's name to Outback.

Ah, sorry for the confusion. On a phone call with Josh he mentioned moving to Outback and finishing up the website. I must have misunderstood this as a merging of the two. My fault! Well, haha, Josh is still good peoples though, and if he's with Outback now, I imagine it's an up and up business. Thanks, and again, sorry for the confusion!

Look at his post history. He has some problem with Outback Reptiles and feels the need to call attention to himself by making up stories about us. We have never done any business with him and our only copntact with him is when he starts threads such as this. We would prefer he just mind his own business so that we can dot he same.

Now fast forward....

He and his friend then show up at your table at a recent show, accompanied by an older woman, who you ASSUMED to be the mother of one but didn't bother asking or verifying.

How would you know that the child you were selling the snake to was the son of the woman who accompanied him? And then...Why wouldn't you ask her relationship to either of the children she was with so that you could speak with her directly face to face about her childs past bad behavior? It pissed you off enough that you could remember a link to a post almost a year ago, didn't it?

I'm not here to accuse you because I have already determined that you took the kids money and didn't give a crap who was with him. I mean, lets be honest, you didn't go to the show to display your stuff and take it home, you went to the show to sell your stuff and you made your sale.

I read and listen to stories about how kids his same age commit murders, rapes, thefts, and other despicable things you wouldn't think a kid would do. And David's big crime here was to piss you off with his gawking and a poor choice of words about you on a few forums.

I didn't sell anything to him at the Manassas show, or ever. I'm not sure if this Shane exists or not- maybe he did buy a pinstripe, there are usually 5-6 people working the outback tables and I'm usually not working the ball python morphs- but as David said, he was not at the show and did not purchase a pinstripe from us.

Since all the evidence would point to David being the one who made every post, yes I am a little peeved that he seems to have this whole little sob story up. It doesnt look good to have your company's name pop up under the search as a "bad guy"- who knows whether or not the searcher will open the thread or not.

It may feel good to try to stand up for the underdog in the situation- poor 15 year old kid who just wants his money back because he can't take care of his snakes properly and his snake's health is suffering accordingly, up against the big, bad Outback reptiles- but the facts surrounding his story just don't add up.

And also, if you have nothing left to say other than resorting to attacking me personally than it gives off the impression that you really have nothing to add to this oh-so-constructive topic. Especially since you "don't know outback reptiles, don't know if their reputation is good or bad" and I am assuming also do not know David Deem or this Shane Howery character either.

Oh, and by the way, if Shane did no exsist I would not even have made this stupid thread up. The older woman is usually Shanes Mother. My mom is not a huge fan of the shows so I always ride with Shane. I used to go with Thomas (The one who made the arachnoboards thread) but I no longer wish to associate with him because he was the one who told me lies about outback in the first place. I trusted him but it ended up he liked to lie about shit and we no longer talk. I look up to many of the vendors as the coolest people on Earth. Rick Krumrine and Outback to me are some of teh coolest people at that show. Sure sometimes we get a small scale breeder with cool stuff but over all I like RIck and Outback the most. I like colubrids not ball pytohns. Ball pythons are not my thing. I no have ball pythons. They are no appealing to me. I like corn morphs. Hence why I have one coming in the mail in a week. Shane likes Ball python morphs.

it is true i did have to leave town becuase m y aunt had a car accident in fredericksburg. we drove immediatly to the rest of the family. david was a good friend and i sent him a text msg saying everything i wanted said and my email and password to do this because he is a close friend. he advised me tht posting from his ip could start something but i didnt know how long i was going to be there and i wanted this settled and move it along as quickly as possible. david only logged in one time on my page. besides with the small breedeing stuff we plan for next year one of us is a each others house often. it is like a five minute drive so it is easy to go to. last night when i tried to feed i brained the fuzzy to try again. when i was holding the mouse with the tongs, i could tell the snake wanted to eat. it seemed like what was a strike but when it struck, it strucked downward and bangs his head on the hide . she did this about 6 times. then she didnt try again. so i will still try but as it is looking right now its not so good

Try waiting longer in between feeding attempts. If you are bothering the snake all the time then it likely won't eat.

I'd also suggest starting a ball python on something larger than a pinky, more like a hopper or most preferably a rat pink.

Good luck trying to get your snake to feed. In the future please do a little bit of research before jumping the gun and making bad guy threads. If you bought a 6 week old puppy that wasn't potty trained yet, you would not demand a refund if it pissed in your house for a couple weeks would you?

Sorry, Disregard the hopper/rat pink crap I was spewing. It helps if I read what other people have written- A fuzzy should be all right for now, just wait longer in between attempts.
