    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok I'm totally new to breeding boas. I've witnessed my pair breeding in January and removed the male mid March as the female was not only body bumping him (where previously she did that on the first 2 days they were together, then bred) but my male zoomed out over 4 times to get out of her cage when I was cleaning. He's never done that before so I could only assume she was no longer receptive.

Tonight I came home from work and saw my girl completely upside down basking like a retic does when gravid and this is NOT a normal position for her. lol
I was wondering if this is a sign of ovulation or could this mean she's gravid? On the off chance she's ovulating I didn't want to miss it, so I put my male back in just now and rather than her usual body bumping and huffing, she seemed very relaxed and non-stressed about his sudden appearance....and he seemed instantly interested in her again like he did before.
Thoughts? (sorry for the shoddy pics...I didn't wish to disturb her and she was already aware of my presence. LOL As I said she WAS completely upside down except for her head when I originally went in but moved after I ran downstairs to get my camera...doh!)
(she is still readily feeding on smaller meals...I've kept her on smaller meals since she "refused" him in mid March).

I haven't witnessed this before myself, though I've heard people mention it. "Looks" about like what I've seen described as some ovulating females doing. She may just be positioning the ovum throughout her body.

I know it would completely freak me out if I saw that. LOL I'm sure someone will come along that has experienced this.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help than that.

No problem Rick, I appreciate all the info/advice/help I can get. :D I left my male in last night (he's still there) just in case to make sure I wouldn't miss this opp. If she IS ovulating rather than pregnant, obviously she didn't take on the Jan. breeding so I'll want to get this 2nd chance. :D I'd LOVE babies from this pair! They are simply stunning!

Hugs!
