Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

PA Northwestern Berks Reptile Expo Feb. 28th

I'll be there...maybe something will tempt me enough to take it home.
 
It'll be a game-day decision for me...it's a long, boring drive.
For the first time ever, I am looking to vend at the next Northern Berks show. I definitely have a lot more of last years newborns than I'm used to having at this point in the new year.

It is that....which is why, despite my plans to attend, I have skipped the last few shows. Pretty bad when I take off time from work to go, and just don't bother. (Could happen again, though I really want to pick up some ASFs. Since nobody wants to commit to a sale in advance, I'll keep my options open)
 
I am going as well. I'm rather excited as I always am to see everything. I must admit there's a part of me that LOVES to hear the rattle of the rattlesnakes as you walk by the table. (although, I don't like to know they are stressed!) I never buy them, but I love to see all the beautiful venomous snakes. I have a few other favs as well that I always look forward to seeing. Not doing a show this time as my back just can't handle it right now. Maybe in the summer.
 
Yeah, I love checking out the venomous too.
I'd like to get a Gila some day, but they are illegal in NJ...as far as I know.
I day-dream about a coffee table set-up with one in it.
 
I can't wait! I feel like I'm trying to zombie through my days just so it gets here faster :D
I make the drive longer for myself because I avoid toll roads and take all back roads.. I'm cheap, I hate wasteing money on tolls, I feel I could be putting it towards something more usefull than a shorter drive time.

Wow!
I got there at 9:05 and not only was the line all the way to the road, but the parking lot was full! WTF? :ack2:
I've never seen it like that before...close, but not like that. I got my stuff and left asap...went to Cabela's & spent even more money. :D
 
Seriously, I got there around 12 and didn't get in until atleast 12:45! I've never seen the line so long!! But, more people will venture out as warmer weather approaches :)

Well, I got there at 8:00am and there was a line out to the end of the first parking lot! I left at 1pm and the line was out past the first parking lot, around the corner and up onto the street!! There was more people piling in! There was lots of snakes and geckos (leopard and cresties) and a small amount of monitors. It's always crowded, but it was incredible this time. I spent more than a grand myself this time. Mostly supplies, but I picked up a couple of nice specimens, not to mention (gulp) my first try at ..er....roaches. ugh! Still can't believe I brought those home!

I brought a friend who had only ever been to one reptile shop before & he kept calling the whole scene surreal...

Thanks...for showing me I made the right choice for the 3rd time in a row.
I think I'm just going to stop taking time off to go to Hamburg unless I have a table - and I might not even bother with that since early customers fill up the vendor parking area and block the flow.

I was wondering when you'd chime in.
These are the best & the worst shows in the region.
With some luck, I'll be vending at the late April show.
 
Had a great show sold most of my leos and got to talk to Brian&Lori Barczyk:bow01: off and on all day.Was set up right behind me ,he has some really amazing stuff. All in all it was a good day .Oh i picked up two new animals ,just had to get something.:D
