    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

And Rosendo, I have no idea, but I would take the advice given as a start and go from there. What kind of money order was it?

I'm sorry to hear you may have been another victim of the Pamela Scam. As previously suggested file a report with your local police department and get a report number. Then you will need to file a report in the town in which you sent the money order to. We are in the process of working with the Brockton police department. Email me and lets see if we can create a larger cases against these scam artists! [email protected]

We must slow these :censored: down! They are breaking down the trust in the reptile community. Which will hurt all of us who are trying to sell or trade reptiles over the internet.

THEY HIT AGAIN! WE MUST STOP THEM - PUT THE WORD OUT!

Well guys they hit again. I received an email from another herper that has fell victim to John & Pamela. I am posting part of their email below. We really need to stop these guys or at a minimum get the word out of their scam.

Email received today (7/18/07): Hello, my name is XXXXXXX and I recently fell victim to a scam on a trade that went horribly wrong. It was supposed to involve my 06 Pewter male and 2 04 proven breeder females for her 06 pied and an 06 female spider, for which she had adds for recently posted on kingsnake. It wasn't until today that I finally realized what a huge mistake I made after reading the 15 page long forum on fauna classifieds revolving around the two of them being SCAMMERS and possibly working together to steal people's snakes. I was unaware that a John Dumas was even associated with Pamela until after I read the forum, and of course I have a feeling that it's too late. I sent my animals to her first for a Tuesday morning delivery by 10:30, expecting her to send me mine in return today, but they never came. After hours of talking between Pamela and DHL, I finally got a hold of the actual courier himself who said he specifically dropped the package off a nd it was signed for by a John Dumas at Pamela's address. Pamela addimently denies knowing any John Dumas, but I know that they are in on this whole thing, and it's so clear that they are working together after reading the forum.

Please help us get the word out on these two scammers! I don't know how they are posting on kingsnake. We are checking the ads daily for signs of either one of them.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that would be considered a 3rd party quote. If so considered then the name should not be marked out. If your going to post that kind of info then the party needs to be named or the info not posted at all.
 
Bryon is correct Dewayne. You can not post that kind of info without naming the source.

There are a couple of funny things about this whole story:

#1) John was the one who started this whole mess. If he didn’t open his mouth, their scam could have gone on for a while longer.

#2) http://www.diamondsexotickennels.com is now locked down. You need a User ID and Password to access his site. So much for doing business over the internet.

It's fine. The sender of the email didn't include his last name. That's not Dewayne's fault. But, there is a first name and an email address and I think that pretty well covers the anonymous rule.

If that is true, then one only needs to provide copies of emails using a person’s first name to support their story. Anyone can create a bogus email address and use it to send an email to themselves, stating whatever they like and copying it here for all to see.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting Dwayne did this and have no reason to question the authenticity of the email based on what we already know about John and Pamela; however, stating this covers the anonymous rule opens the door for “less than honest” people to do the same.

Just something to consider.

And they can also make up a bogus first and last name. The rule only requires a name to be attached to the quote. So that has be met in this case. The membership here has to take some responsibility in deciding what to believe or not when they read here.
 
My thinking was that if the statement couldn't be made here by Richard without his full name attached (BOI rule requires full name on all posts), it shouldn't be presented by somebody else without his full name being attached.

Educating other Herpers

I hope we don't loose sight of my intension with regards to my last post. The only reason for my post to was to advise others that the nightmare we personally went through is happening to other people. If anyone is questioning my honesty or intensions please feel free to give me a call 602-721-3913. I would be happy to discuss this topic with you.

We have a variety of people buying and selling reptiles and I hate to see people, myself included, taken advantage of with dishonest dealings.

So again my hope is to pass the word along to be very very cautious if you encounter John or Pamela!!!

Hello, just wanted to clarify for everyone that my posting is 100% authentic, that is the new forum created by Richard Kimmel. The reason that my full name was not originally supplied was because Dwayne of Desert Dweller Reptiles wanted to make absolutely sure that he was not posting any information that I would not want posted because of a possible ongoing investigation. The bottom line is that I currently have become a victim of John Dumas/Pamela Mansulla's SCAM, and I am going to do everything I can to make absolutely sure that no one else falls victim, and that both of these individuals are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Thanks to everyone who has replied to this forum, it has been a big help in getting out the word, and I will keep everyone posted on the progress of recovering my animals.
