    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was just wondering what some of you thought about this new morph. I think it could make for some very exciting breeding's in the next few years, anyway I just wanted to here from some of you before I become to obsessed with this boa lol.

Hi Bill, the paradigm boa is not a true morph in the normal since. It is a vidual double het for caramel and sharp albino. It is an incredible looking animal with all kinds of potential for combinations. I would love to see a motley paradigm. I will in all likely hood have one down the road, but I will wait my turn for a good bit.

There was a thread on paradigm boas posted on the kingsnake.com boa forum a month or two ago.

From the information there, it looks like paradigm is not a double het. It looks like a case of multiple alleles at the Sharp albino locus in the genome. Paradigm is heterozygous, with a single gene pair made up of a Sharp albino mutant gene and a boawoman hypo mutant gene.

If that information is correct, then paradigm x paradigm -->
1/4 Sharp albino (two Sharp albino mutant genes)
2/4 paradigm (a Sharp albino mutant gene paired with a boawoman hypo mutant gene)
1/4 boawoman hypo (two boawoman hypo mutant genes)

If this is all correct, then (as far as I know) this is the first case of multiple alleles in boids. I know of two cases in colubrid snakes. And multiple alleles are pretty common in well-studied creatures like mice and fruit flies.

Hope this helps.
