I respect that he's gotten on your nerves with what you feel is the same complaint being made over and over again. However he hasn't made 1,315 posts to date about warning points.

Now just follow me on this one.....

With your above reply to me, that Greg can also read, how do you think he might receive your message? You're basically calling him a broken record and it can infuriate a person to continue on. I know youre frustrated, but his frustrations arent going to allow him to see you as an equally frustrated person. Anyone with such frustrations might think the other to just be an added frustration.....a pain in the hiney.

So rather than say:

"I for one would like to see Greg post about something other than warning points."

Could you have said:

"I've always liked Greg's posts a lot and wish he would get back to posting the good stuff he used to push out".

Its world of difference and most likely true because he's a good guy and has many good posts in his 1,315 accumulated postings.

But I'm not your coach and I'm not even attempting to tell you how you should speak for yourself. Thats just how I would have done it, maybe not in the past, but definitely now. It just seems easier trying to channel his energy in a more positive way about a positive subject.

I know what you're saying and I respect how annoyed you've become by it all. But hes not asking you to ban him, he's asking Rich. And if he wanted it so badly he could choose a real easy way to "off himself" by posting seven little letters aimed directly at Rich. We know what the outcome would be and so does Greg.

I took a long vacation from fauna, and forums in general due to a heavy workload and a long brutal winter. That and I was supended and fined. BUT, it did me well. With that said...I sure hope it ends with Greg deciding on a mini vacation from fauna and he returns on his own will when he's ready.

I was going to post to this this morning but had little time to do so. Now it has become a "ban me pissing match" which kind of messed up my reply a bit.

So back on topic.

Rich I can see your point with the removal of the "report a post" button option. Yet as I have said before in other communications I don't feel there is a need to just go "lawless" and kick back with a bowl of popcorn and watch the BOI turn into Jerry Springer. There is way too much quality information for consumers to use now and in the future to allow a self implosion to take place. You have a good solid moderation team here so take a week off, spend it doing what you want when you want and don't even think of the net. Take the wife down to the Cayman's (also will get you good "points" with her) and just relax. I am sure Jay, Ken, and Dennis can keep the masses on the right path. You my friend need a vacation more than even I do, so take it..

It's probably the same place that some of the banned KS people go.

I actually found a forum site where a small group of ball python people are apparently boycotting the KS bp forum because one of their favs got banned for breaking the rules. One of their mods deleted my account from their forums for apparently just for LOOKING at someone's profile one day. geeze. I don't think Fauna or KS mods would ever stoop that low to ban someone for looking at publicly posted information or even care who was looking at whose profiles. talk about paranoia.
