    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

my girlfriend's veiled chameleon is 6 months old and mine is 7 weeks old. but both of our chameleons have random bumps protruding from their ribs. i read that it could be a sign of parasites, but im not sure. i was thinking about taking them both to the herp vet. any suggestions?

First question-Are they both housed together

Second-stop reading this and get them to a Vet, if it does not look normal it probably is not normal.

hey i have a adult female veiled she has no parasites but i pretty sure wahat it gots it may have a discease if so it is a bone marrow one.but dont worry it can be treated if you acked fast. take it to any type of vet that knows what u are talkin about it also might because it did not eat enough i feed mine every day and she does great .

i hope every thing works out for u holmes. :) :) :)

Howdy,

Be sure to let us know what the vet's diagnosis is so that we can all learn from this one.

we took in my girlfriends female chameleon and was told that she was pregnant, and that the pushing of the eggs against her ribs was causing the bumps. im not too sure though because my male has it as well. i asked the them about my male chameleon and they said i just need to fatten it up some more. any input?

Howdy,

If you can, post some good, well focused photos showing various angles and views of both critters, someone may be able to spot what's up.

P.S. If the photos are coming out unfocused, try backing up a bit farther and then use your photo software to crop it to a manageable size.
