    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Albert Carroci [this one is supposed but has a very bare FB account with no reptile photos].

Supposedly located in North Carolina. What's interesting is that there is a supposed person in the Carolinas that has a pretty sizable collection...but doesn't seem to be this guy.

I was contacted by someone on here called dekatrey, less than 24 hours after I made my want post for shinglebacks. Told me to email [email protected]. The pining for pinecones began.

Dude lead me on about shinglebacks for a week only to:

  1. Say he only accepts crypto as payment
  2. Video call me with a recorded movie of 10 shingle backs eating tuna with an edit in it [attached video to this thread]
  3. See that his accounts were linked to 3 accounts active in Indonesia lol. [yay sleuthing]
  4. Dekatrey's account was deleted when our exchange came to a halt after I asked for a custom video.
I doubled down on not being down with crypto and ask for more photos/videos with my name on paper next to a held skink. Dude started getting spicy.

There was someone within a shingleback group on FB, Mackenzie Kima that had vouched for him, saying he purchased tortoises and other stuff from Patrick as well. Same with someone called Albert Carroci. Both of these people had very bare or locked FB accounts. So I decided to bait....I wanted pinecone legitimacy.

Had to go grab water after this one since I was laughing so hard. Obviously, on top of the incorrect everything, same drop shadow, different font etc..signing off as PATICK got me pretty good.

The hunt continues...
