    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok, so here is what is going on. So recently I have noticed that when I try to log in and I use the right username and password it says that u are either not registered or not fully registered and then the way I have to log in is put in the right username right after and then just the wrong password like whatever comes to mind and then it will go to the you have attempted the wrong password 1 out of 5 times yada yada speech and it will have as I am logged in then and I click on the fauna home page and I am good. But that only works if i put in the right username and password first then do the second part. Has this been happening to anyone else and if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know, thank you...
 
You may need to clear out browser cache. For IE go to tools, internet options, browsing history and delete.

For FF, tools, options, advanced, clear now.
 
Yeah, your success has nothing to do with using the wrong password. You could refresh the browser when you get the first message (after you've logged in correctly), and it should show you as logged in. Also, I don't know if this is still an issue; but I had a similar problem a while back when I was using faunaclassifieds.com instead of www.faunaclassifieds.com. I set up all my bookmarks with the www, and haven't experienced it since. (Then again, I usually leave myself logged on when using any of my personal devices; and I rarely use public computers to access the site these days)
 
Is this happening on a cell? If I don't check the "remember me" box, sometimes it will not recognize my login attempt.
 
So what happens is I will try and log on using my username and password and it will look like its loading to log me on and then go strait back to the original home page to either register os log on and just now I had to keep typing it over and over and I cleared all my history and wnhat you said and I dunno what I did but I kept refreshing and exiting the site and brining it back up but then out of nowhere I typed it in one more time and then it finally logged me on. But I didn't try to use the www.faunaclassifieds.com yet, I have only been typing faunaclassifieds.com so the next time I try I will do that and see if it works. But thanx for the intel , if you have anything else I would appreciate it. And also no I dont ever log into the site with my cell phone and this happens either at work and with my mac book at home so its to do with the site or my acct or something...
 
Ok so I tried what Harald said with typing in www and my username and password worked the first try so I think that did it for now thanks a lot man.
 
I was hoping to offer an explanation; but I've been trying unsuccessfully to find the thread that explained WHY that works (what the underlying problem is).
Glad it helped, though.
 
Yupp seems to be workng now. I will try and do a little snooping and figure out what the issue with that is and why that happens.
