    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

There not that much more..

They are not selling for too much more right now anyhow. Also, what does it hurt to ask? Brandon might come across someone that would meet him halfway to avoid shipping, needs quick cash...you never know unless you ask. Besides, $175, if not today, then one day VERY soon.

Hold fast Brandon, youll get it sooner or later.
 
Some other site I will not mention has someone selling them for 210 shipped so 175 isn't a crazy crazy possibility.
 
But how nice could they be for that price?

I could sell you this one but I guarentee it will be a lot more than $210 shipped.

The higher prices also reflect the quality of the pastel.
 
Ah, see I didn't state their quality, but neither has this poster. He's going by price, I'm just commenting on what I've seen though none of the pastels I saw caught my eye.
 
Very true.
There are some really "ugly" pastels out there. All brown on the sides.
Those seem to be the ones being sold really cheap.

IMO, if you buy a pastel, go for the brightest, cleanest one you can find. They really aren't much more than the lesser quality ones but in the long run, I think you would be happier.

An ugly male Pastel mated with a nice bright and clean female normal can produce beautiful offspring, lets not kid people.

Buy or sell what you wish, at whatever price you wish. Sell your Pastels for 2k apiece if thats what you feel they are worth.

What should NOT be done is, in an attempt to maintain prices at levels SOME PEOPLE on this site may feel are good and beneficial to THEM and THEIR wallets, these few intimidators may try to put down, ostracize, and make anyone that attempts to buy or sell at a level below what they deem is acceptable, feel unwanted here.
 
Start with high quality stock and you will consistently produce high quality animals.
It all ends up being "you get what you pay for".
 
My take here is that if YOU have any pastel at that price he's willing to pay for then post and reply. If you just want to criticize, then keep it to yourself. Last time I checked, this website DOESN'T put a selling price limit on ANY animal. I don't think anybody is breaking any law for buying an animal that's below the average price. Just my 2 cents// Jo
 
I didn't see where Bandon..

In Brandon's original post I really don't see where he stipulated that he was worried about consistently producing "high quality stock" as you say? Which isn't true anyway, an ugly male Pastel CAN produce beautiful babies when bred to a nice bright and clean "normal" female.

Maybe Brandon just wants a pet Pastel and is never intending on breeding it?

Maybe Brandon worked real hard to raise the $175, and thats all he has?

Maybe Brandon has a LOT of money, but $175 is all he thinks Pastel males
are worth?

I really don't think it's anyone elses business.

If you're Pastels are so great and beautiful, never fade, and produce tons of beautiful babies because you spent a lot of money on the parents, I say; "Congrats!! Good for you!!"

You should charge what you wish for them, which, by your rationale that spending lots of money on Pastel breed stock ensures beautiful offspring, means you should fetch a pretty penny for them.

i glad everyone is wanting to but what they think about why i want to buy a pastel for 175 but i didnt ask for any one to say what they think i asked for someone who was looking to help me out and if you have time to worry about saying something that isnt what i asked get a life but thank you to the one that defended me ive been busy watching me baby being born i really am glad some people dont try to be a**holes thanks brandon
