In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Saw this guy for sale and was wondering if you guys could help me. Is he just a beautiful Pastel or a Super Pastel?

Owner is selling as a pastel (priced as such too) but mentioned how he was very bright yellow and may be super pastel. He does look very bright in the pics and I am a newbie lol so I figured I would get some expert opinions.

Super pastels tend to have really light heads and most (not all) have a decent amount of blushing on the back. I would agree that it's a nice pastel, but I don't see super. Anyone else like to chime in their opinions?

Ty, figured it didn't hurt to ask. I'm still trying to learn how to determine what is what. (Owned a normal for years and just now delving into morphs. ) Blushing is the faded (or erased look) in the black right? I see that some in him but yes his head is very dark. Thank you for helping though : )!

Many super pastels get harder to identify as they age...it's usually fairly easy to tell when they're young. Throwing "possible super" as a sales pitch is pretty lame, IMO, unless one has a legitimate reason for doing so.
IMO, a good pastel is a better find than an iffy super.

He's listed as 2 yrs old. I don't think the seller is trying to get over on anyone, think he may he like me and unsure. (I would think much differently if he had him listed for more than $75). From the tone of the listing I believe this is a pet not from a breeder. He is very pretty though. I don't need a pastel male at the moment but I just figured at that price I wouldn't pass him up if he were a Super.
