    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm not seeing many of these on Kingsnake anymore, other than pastel hets. Are they no longer popular? I'm interested in purchasing one, so if you've got them hit me up with pics and prices. Thanks!

I think they meant pastel het (ghost,clown,pied,etc.)
 
Lisa,

While the pastels are still "popular", you have to factor in that they have become so widely bred/kept that the price on a regular pastel isn't a whole lot over the price of a normal, and also that the pastels make so many cool combo morphs, they are being heavily crossed into other things. The pastel hets are worth more than a "plain" pastel, so that's what folks are leaning toward breeding, besides the fact that many pastel hets are remnants of pastel het/recessive breedings in the process of makingthose codom/recessive morph breedings.

Does that make sense?
 
Well put Cat, Lisa I do have a female pastel het for nothing about 420 grams and a male breeder pastel het ghost (from Mark and Kim Bell) if interested email me at [email protected] And by the way Cathy I hope the spider is doing good

And het for anything or nothing, a good quality pastel will always be one of my favorite morphs.

Yeah, that's what I keep running into. I see a lot of pastel hets out there, and I don't need it to be het for anything, I'm just trying to rebuild my collection now that my daughter is at an age where I'll have time to put into them. I'm not looking to breed at this point, I just want a nice, pretty pastel to go with my pretty normal, if that makes sense?
