    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

When they come to me with your packages before I can even open tehm they require the $2000 check written out to you.
Within in 10 business days (usually less) you recieve your payment.
The reason it takes so long is when I hand UPS a check, they deposit it into their account, and it takes 3-days for the check to clear their account then they mail you an offical UPS check cashable anywhere...it still takes 10 business days to receieve.

OR,

You mail the shipment not COD and I mail you a Cashiers check immediately upon receipt....I am a verified distributor...I have a store front, two full time employees, many part time employees, have been in this business for over 5 years...sell to the top distributors in the country, etc etc...can supply you with many many refrences.

Please let me know how you'd like to conduct this transaction as I would like to close this deal out by the end of the week.

Pat Kane contacted me off a add on kingsnake looking for new suppliers. He came off very proffesional, and I must say I was pretty fooled (but not enough to loose money to him luckily...lol).

He dropped the names of MANY BIG TIME COMPANINES, claiming to be a supplier to them.

On the phone he sounded atleast 30 years old, and very business like.

He was trying to sell me animals most notebly

up to 100 4" sulcata
Dart frogs
Baby Red and Yellow Nigerian Uros
Dums
and BRB's

Prices were too good to be true, but he played the role well.

I am in no way defending Pat kanes behavior but the reality is Pat Kanes age is irrelevant. If Pat is under 18 or over 18 it is still like getting blood from a stone when someone rips you off. He promised to pay but just doesn't have the money so now it is a civil matter not a criminal matter.

He didn't give you a bad check or a stolen credit card etc. so there is no crime. He said he would pay you, you sent the animals, suddenly he has hardship and can't pay so you will just have to wait. (An honest person might have offered to send them back but ........)

It IS a lot like a cell phone bill. If you don't pay they cut your service off and nag you about paying your bill. They don't send the police after you! There is no debtors prison anymore.

You could pursue this matter through small claims court etc. but even if you win, if he has no money they will let him make payments until it is paid off, they can't seize assets or put him in jail. I've been through this it took me over a year to collect $300. I

Unfortunately you got taken in by his name dropping and smooth talk. You made a mistake by sending the animals without getting any payment. Now you have to deal with this pain in the #ss. Good luck.

I have done research and made contact with several State and Federal agencies. It is VERY IMPORTANT that everyone makes a separate complaint!!!

If everyone contacts the listed agencies they will do something! I spoke with Chris Markie at the MA District Attorny's office at 508-997-6333 and he is speaking with the MA DA to see how we can all go about this and if they can assist. I cannot be the single voice making noise. You all said he needs to be out of the business, and that he gives you all a "bad name".

This is your chance to do something and keep others from losing money, animals, and their sanity.

PLEASE CONTACT THESE AGENCIES AND MAKE YOURSELVES HEARD!!!

Rhode Island and Mass. FBI:617-742-5533, State Division of Agriculture: 401-222-2781 (Pat told me he opened a store front to sell to the public, and this state division office has warned him about not being licensed to do it), East Providence Police dept.: 401-435-7600 and several people gave me this number to contact his parents because I had just found out he's a minor: 508-336-0667. If you call the Federal Trade Commission at 1-800-876-7060 and file a complaint it would be helpful to everyone, as they cannot investigate until a pattern of alleged criminal behavior can be seen.

I also got ripped of by this PAT KANE with $180.00,I'm from Puerto Rico and I ordered him 4 sulcatas....one month ago still waiting cell phone (doesn't pick it up) email..
But I was doing a search on the yellow pages and I found a Patrick J Kane in RI with this phone # didn't call because my english is not so good,but next week I will be going to RI to try to fix this up.

I've sadly just been added to the Pat Kane List of victims,yes victims,we're all victims of his crimes.This is the 1st time I have really been screwed by any trading and/or purchase's ever.Everyone I've dealt with has been fair and honest,and for total strangers I think that's great.I think (as far as Pat Kane is concerned)he will eventually answer for all his dishonest actions.WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND! to put it mildly.DO your self a favour,GOOGLE someone before you trade or buy,get some feed back, that's what I'm doing from now on.

Hi, I have been rippe doff by this indivisual as well. I asked that he shiped 17 torotises COD. He then came back and said he wanted a $300 deposit. Well after sending it to him and a few lame excuses why he couldnt ship I havnt heard from him in over a month.

I'm confused, why would you go to the "environmental police"? Is that like fish and wildlife? Did he commit an environmental crime? Wouldn't it make more sense just to go through his local police, the FBI Internet fraud division and small claims court?

I'm under the impression that the DEM is working in conjunction with the other agencies to build a case against Kane.I'm sure that there is alot of shuffling around and alot of beauricratic red tape involved also,being that Pat kane is still a minor I'm sure has something to do with it.I tried also to contact the police in RI,and had no returns yet.I've cut my losses with pat I don't have the time to go to small claims court in RI,even being in NY,it's still a couple hundred miles for me and not worth it.I figured just to be another nail in his coffin by filing this complaint.I will try the RI,PD again also I'm sure with all that's going on in the world today Pat kane's mail fraud business is not top priority.
 
Tax

Turn him in for tax fraud, that will get their attention. They don't like people "stealing" from them. I got all kinds of letters and liens from them for a mistake which was for a total of 100.00. You have to file if you make over 300.00 in a year. Which he has scammed more than that and it still is taxable.
