    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Do all cage companies have pathetically long shipping times?
All I ordered was a replacement vent.
It better not take 20-25 days before they ship it. :angry:

I guess the ETA is whenever. Typical cage company. :rolleyes:

you just have the worst luck with cage companies, what is up with that?

When I get my custom caging, lead times are 1-2 months which I'm fine with; another company I order from has caging pre-made (and parts) and I usually receive those 1-2 weeks after I order.

Hopefully you won't have to wait 20-25 days for them to ship out a part.
 
Most caging/rack companies seem to have horrible wait times right now. I've been looking for cages for my carpets, and there doesn't seem to be a great choice...
 
This isn't a cage. This is a replacement vent.
There should not be that much of a lead time for a part.
 
I purchased a used Boaphile cage and would like to order a new acrylic door as the one with the cage is pretty scratched up. I can't get Jeff to even reply to my email. I am in the wrong line of work. I am a custom cabinetmaker by trade, maybe I need to forget the 50K kitchens and switch to snake enclosures. It isn't rocket science, it is a box with a door!!!

I've gathered that it's pretty typical from reading other reviews. He stopped responding to my emails too after the purchase was done. I admit it can be irksome, but he does give a full disclaimer on his website saying that email is the worst way to get a hold of him. He never did respond to my emails regarding the late shipment, even after weeks, but when I finally did receive the product and noticed a crack - I called him like it says on his site (Something I hate doing personally which is why I had resisted) and he immediately sent a replacement out the next day. I was very pleasantly surprised to get two replacement parts the following week.

I agree that there shouldn't be any problems if you just call him. I can't see why shipping out parts would take long since there isn't any assembly required or anything...
