In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm gonna buy a Sunglow male (Ray Hine) and maybe a Patternless Albino female (also Ray Hine).... but what do you get if you breed them together?

Forgot some info, this is from the (new) Ray Hine website:

"Hybinos or sunglows as some people are calling them are basically a Tremper line albino crossed into my hypo and super hypo bloodlines. The result is albinos with reduced or, in the better examples, totally absent body and head markings. The tangerine colour of the tangerine super hypos is especially enhanced, with the lack of black pigment."

"The patternless albinos, or leucistic albinos, are a product of a cross between a Tremper line albino gecko and a leucistic ( patternless ).

The result is a solid yellow patternless albino, that stays bright yellow even as an adult. Unlike most patternless, that can dull down considerably as they get older. An added bonus with this strain, is the yellow continues down the tail, in carrottail fashion, on some individuals."

More Questions :raspberry

Sunglow X Chocolat Albino = Albino het. sunglow? Am I right?

But what would you cross with a Albino het. sunglow to get nice babygecko's?

Sunglow X SHCT = ??

I got a Super Hypo Carrot Tail het. albino female to breed with the Sunglow to get Sunglows.... but I want to buy a third female, what morph would you advise me to buy?

You will most likely get a few Sunglows Het for Patternless or Hypo Albinos het for Patternless, and Tangerine Albinos Het for Patternless.

Many people (Including me) Apply the term "het for Sunglow". Which is wrong, because Sunglow is not a Recessive trait. Sunglows are the combination of a Recessive (Albino) trait and a Dominant/Co-dominant (Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot-tail) trait. With my experience using the hiss bloodline, my Super Hypo male, for the most part.... appears to be dominant.

Now, when you breed Sunglow x Chocolate Albino. You could get Hypo Albinos (not Sunglow), tangerine Albinos, and something in between. It would be possible to produce Sunglows, it your Sunglow's "Super Hypo genes" are dominant.

You can't really have an Albino het. for Sunglow (unless there's something I don't know). That would mean, that Super Hypo is a recessive gene, which it does not appear to be.

That all depends on what your goals are. What do you want to produce?

Well, it's more a hobby to me, I don't have any goals :erm:
I just want a nice looking third girl to breed with the Sunglow and have nice looking baby's :)

I already have the SHCT het. albino and a chocolat albino female.

In that case, go with any female you want. If you get a female that doesn't have the Albino genes, and you breed it to a Sunglow...... you will probably get a few hypos/super hypos that are het for Albino and maybe some normal looking ones that are het for Albino.

Could someone please give me the link to the Ray Hines website-as I've never been there?
Thanks
Sandy
