Herp Nerd
Just wrapped up a great transaction with Paul Huang. Paul had some rattlers for sale and I was interested in his yearling canebrake. I live about 3 hours south of Paul, so I said I would just drive up to Albuquerque and pick the snake up. Paul was kind enough to hold the snake for me for over two weeks, without any deposit.
When I got to Paul's, he graciously invited me into his place and proceeded to show me his very impressive collection of herps. We chatted for around 3 hours, and probably would have gone on for much longer had I not had to leave by a specific time
The canebrake I got from Paul is a spectacular specimen and took to his new home at a friend's place very well...he didn't buzz much on the car-ride back, but once we got him out he sure let us know he was a rattlesnake afterall,
I feel I gained a lot of things from this transaction: a great snake, and a new friend and herping buddy. I would not hesitate one bit to purchase another animal from Paul, and you shouldn't either. His animals all looked in very good shape and it's readily apparent they recieve tons of TLC.
Thanks again Paul, hope to see you again soon!
