    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just because you don't understand the liability aspect doesn't mean there isn't any.
 
i agree totally with april BUT i also agree with tim also.......as evidence is shown that the coffin nail hammer AND placed into the dirt along with his past dealings should warrant a ban. but rules are rules. anyway not like he can be really stopped with changing names and ip addy
 
I wish one of the rules could be, anyone truly caught scamming, is subject to being banned. That way its not against the rules to ban someone for scamming another member. Even though, I think its going to work in my favor, having been a "victim" now, I would love to see this guy banned, especially since there is also a history of trying to scam.

Seriously? Someone looks at that guy's ads here in the classifieds, and if they are REALLY sharp (being facetious, of course), they might notice a button on that ad that says "BOI?" So they click on it and get brought to a list of threads, this one being one of them. So if they choose to not read this thread, or read it and choose to deal with the guy anyway, THAT is OUR fault?

I am sorry that you feel that we don't do enough to protect people from making their own poor choices in life. I am sorry that when you get a failing grade for not doing YOUR homework, you feel that someone else should be blamed for YOUR failure. We are just offering tools here. It's up to you to learn how to use them in the best way possible to support YOUR decisions in what you do here. We are NOT here to hold your hand and FORCE you to do what WE think is best for YOU. Push comes to shove, every decision YOU make while here on this site concerning doing business with another member is still YOUR responsibility, not ours.
 
I understand that. I was simply stating my thoughts and opinions on this. I wasnt meaning to degrade or make light of what you guys do and how you run this site. I should have kept it out of this thread. I guess I just view this sight differently than you and others. Thats all. All in all, Im thankful for this site and what it tries to do and maintain everyday
 
I thought those snakes looked familiar. 2 of them anyway. The studly fellow standing by the white 4X4 with the dinky BBQ in the background is me. The male in the cornsnakes thread came from me.

That guy contacted me about my ad for copperheads. He offered to trade a pair of gaboons that were supposed to be 3 yrs old and already 7ft long and proven breeders. I have some really nice coppers but couldnt imagine getting young proven gaboons for them. I asked for pics and got some you can readily find on google and he refused to ship first. I told him i could drive to him and the excuses started rolling in. I quit contacting him at that point. A week later i posted a new ad and got a response from him claiming to have a pair of gaboons around 5 ft but again he would not ship first. Then he tells me when he ships he ships venomous to your door. This guy isnt sketchy hes a rip off.
 
Well now everybody knows that paul kurnava is a scammer let this be a lesson learned please use the BOI before making any deals to get feed back .... It is very useful ... As you can see ...

He also has another screen name that he used reticguy0921 so keep your eyes out on that as well ... Another member found that out on an older BOI that I made about him ...
 
We can do so much to help the members out on this site I hope I been very helpful to others as well.... I would hate to be on the other end of dealing with this guy
