    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just wanted to say thanks to Ken Davenport ([email protected] ) from "Peace of the Tropics". He was great in terms of advising me on setting up my dart frog vivarium. He has a great selection of live plants, a great selection of frogs, and is a personable and knowledgable, not to mention trustworthy, Dart Frog Enthusiast!

If your looking for plants, cork, and "thumbnail" frogs, whether your in the Seattle/Tacoma area or not, you should check-out Peace of the Tropics.

The only thing bad about my whole experience with Ken is that now I want more vivariums, and more frogs...damn this cursed love of Herps!

I have gotten a lot of cork bark and good quality bromeliad plants from Ken over the past few months and am very pleased with his service. The prices are very reasonable. Ken is a nice and knowledgeable person. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for terrarium supplies.
