    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hi i have been looking for perches for GTP's and i really would not like to use pvc piping because it takes away from the looks. i will if i have to but does anyone know where i could get perches. i want to get my cage setup by the end of this week but worst come to worst i just go to home depot and get some pvc.

Thank you I'm just gonna get PVC then its probably cheaper too. Is there a limit to how many perches I shoul have

Depending on the cage size/size of the animal 2-3. In a > shape (or < if you want)

This is where I get my wines from: Vivarium Concepts. I buy several sizes and types and let my snake choose from them. I personally like the Sorong Island Curvy Lianas.

when you order the vines off that site, do you attach them to the glass? or do you just kinda lean them against the side, i like those natural vines but also want my perches to be horizontal and parallel. If you do attach them to the glass i would love to know how you do it

I made my own background ut of foam and cement so in the process I made lil slots in the background for vines to be placed on. You can always glue/silicone it to the glass but I think it would be better to get some of those perch holders or make your own holder with pvc pipe. Check out this website it has some good ideas and how other GTP owners use as perch holders. Good luck

thats a good link man thanks for sharing, soudns like your setup is legit, very naturalistic, i would love to see pics of yours especially if you have a flase bottom and waterfall

Don't mention it. It was my first build but it came out better than I thought. It was a good learning experience. No waterfall or false bottom. But here's a pic (used my cell...sorry for the bad quality) of how it looked a few moths back. Had to change the branches and get bigger ones and move the fern back cuz it was growing like a weed.
