    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Great to hear from you again and thank you. Mr. Frade has obviously responded to the thread and is aware of what needs to be done to rectify the issue. If he chooses not to make right the agreement, I pray this helps future breeders and reptile owners to make an informed decision on who they buy from. This also can easily turn into a "resolved or made right" thread - but that is up to Mr. Frade.

Are people in prison allowed to surf the internet and have cell phones?

Which leads to the bigger question: Manny Frade has been in prison for the last year who is watching his critters? And do the people who have sent him critters on breeding loan know he's not there?
 
Best I can figure is that anyone who does business with a Frade, is unaware of the BOI. I can't imagine how truly damaged the reptile industry would be without this site and the wisdom that created it.

"Defendant Sentenced for Operating a Boiler Room in Broward
County On February 25, 2016, Manuel Frade pled guilty to one count of scheme to defraud and one count of securities fraud (Chapter 517.301, F.S.). On the same date, Frade was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to two years of prison to be followed by 10 years of probation. Frade was also ordered to pay $438,334.00 in restitution, $100,000 of which was paid immediately."


Again, if the above is true, it would be as simple as finding out who his probation officer is, contacting him/her, letting him/her know about what transpired between you & Manny.

At that point, I'd bet dollar to doughnut holes, Manny starts jumping through hoops, too take care of you.

Good Question - honestly I have no idea what his current position on this is. What I can say is a good friend is helping me attempt to gather the info needed to make this right. Fingers crossed!

If he is in prison, it would make sense that all payments are going through his wife's PayPal account. Perhaps she's running the business in his absence?
