In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Perhaps it was inevitable....

....but at the show in Mankato on Sunday, I finally found a baby I just couldn't resist. :D

She's a patternless x albino I guess....all I know is that she is adorable. My daughter and I are now arguing over what to name her.....

Wow Cat! Shes gorgeous! I can see why you couldn't resist. Shes a charmer. I bet your just having all the fun right now.

Thanks, Kristin. We're really enjoying her, she's really sweet.....and my daughter was doubly thrilled, as she had all but given up asking for one, lol. And of course now she insists you simply CANNOT have just one........

*sigh*

SHUSH. :raspberry

Unfortunately.........you're probably right. I'm not telling HER that though. :uhh: :p

LOL, Thats funny! At least there easy to take care of, well at least once you have it all figured out. Cat knows what shes doing unlike some of us who took awhile.

Well, being my first Leo, there's always some learning going on as you get to know them.....but between reading here and doing other research since my daughter has been bugging me for so long, I feel pretty confident we're doing well with her. She's sure an energetic little thing!! :)

Ok, its your first one, but still! I don't see how you could mess up! Once you've been into Reptiles for so long, you get to know stuff. You've probably owned every heating contraption and learned to use it by know. An what about Snakes? Now I know every Snake IS different and has different requirements, but a Snake is a Snake. I'm sure your list has been big enough, and I'm positive she has a good Mommy. :) Now I just can't wait to get where you are past some of the basic ignorance's and then I'll be set. Figured out a name yet? What about quicktail. Funny name huh? Kinda sounds Native. I know your going to enjoy her immensely because I'm a big Snake person and didn't even like Gexie when we first got him, but hes such a doll! I mean I cared for him and his well being I had just never seen a Leopard Gecko until Jeff brought him home and he was called little Satan for the first two weeks, but hes defiantly one of my favorites now! His cute little purple tail, AND he wags it, licks everything, "snuggles" close to you, and runs around in just the cutest fashion I can't even describe! Leos just have their own category. Well have fun with her! :)

That is a very sweet baby!!
Enjoy her/him and yes-they can be quite addictive
LOL
Sandy

Thanks Monte, I will definitely keep your offer in mind! Did you attend the show in Mankato last weekend?

And yeah Sandy.....I've been warned of this addiction, but I didn't listen, lol.....now it may be too late. ;)

Hi Cathy,
Your little one is gorgeous. I bet she'll be a beauty when all her color is in! Mankato was a good show, I know it will only get better. Great people, great animals and a good time!
Kare

Ah, I saw those too Aaron.....but I couldn't resist the little baby, lol.

And thanks, Kare....it was a good time up there, looking forward to another one.

Yep, I was there with my son. I didn't pick anything up. Pretty small crowd though - they need to do more advertising next time. But I was impressed with the animals there - nice variety. I was going to have a table - but most of my stuff was higher end crested, and from what it looked like, people weren't really spending a lot there. I hope it grows though - it was a good start.

My son was all whipped up over a striped kingsnake - but the last thing I needed was some snake what poops when it gets defensive.

LOL! Monte that was our table with the kingsnakes! The babies grow out of the "poop-all-the-time" phase fairly fast. Not like those Hondurans and Pueblans, those buggers are hyper wigglers and poopers until almost 2 years old!
Larry and Thomas said they learned alot from this first show. They will advertise better for the next one. It sure would be nice to have a regular show here in Minnesota.

Agreed, Kare.....I think they did a good job with getting everything set up, but a lot of folks just never heard about it. I did hear comments that some folks were put off by not being able to know who the vendors were also.

I'm very happy with what I bought there...I just wish I would have sold more, lol. It's always nice to make more than you spend...LOL.

We did pretty well there. Kept the buying down and sold some. (I did bring home one of the Giant Leos, LOL, she was too cute.) Kansas City was okay too, but at the end of the day we traded for quite a few new mouths. (a really sweet pair of pure Hogg Island Boas! among them) The show this weekend in Des Moines will be tough. We aren't vendors there, so shopping (and spending) only. Eek.
