I will only adopt ratties out in same sex pairs or trios enless you can prove that you have a same sex buddy waiting at home. Each rat is $5 and you must pick up and bring your own container for transport. I may be able to meet you in Phoenix at my mothers house (just e-mail so that we can set up a time to meet over there, she's just behind the Alhambra High School). These guys are ment as pets, not food or breeding stock. I'm available all day, every day. If you would prefer to mix and match colors, that's alright by me, I just listed them by size or littermates.
Bring your children in the evening once the sun starts to go down (around 6p.m.) and I will set the ratties up outside in an enclosed play area for you and your children to interact with them, hands on. Ratties should be handled and played with before taking them home to make sure that their personality is best suited for your family, and not adopted just for their looks.
I will try to supply a sandwhich baggy of my pre-mixed food to go along with you to help you either wean your ratties onto your own food or give you an idea on how to mix your own (just remind me, sometimes I'm forgetful when it comes to sending along the bags). Ask about my food when you come and visit and I'll explain what is in it and what to add to your own mix to give you more food for a much lower price on what you would normally spend/get at the petstore. It's healthier, lasts longer, costs less and most of all, your ratties will just adore it!
You can call my husband's cellphone (602-793-9564) and ask to speak to me, but the best way to get a hold of me is through e-mail, I check it often during the day.
Please do not visit a petstore two hours prior to visiting my home. Petstores have a bad reputation of rodent related illnesses that travel on the soles of your shoes, clothes and hair that can very easily be passed on. Allowing two hours or more will kill off the viruses you may carry if it can not be passed on. Or if you absolutely must visit a petstore and do not have two hours to spare, go home and shower and change your clothes first, please.
And thank you, to those of you who have already adopted from me. The ratties and I greatly appreciate you opening your home and offering your love to them.
