In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This set will give you a great start in one of the most awesome hobbies out there. :) There's no better way to jump into roach keeping. :p
Here's what you get:
Archimandrita tesselata (Giant Peppered Roach)- 5 small nymphs, one pair of large nymphs, one pair of adults.

Often overshadowed by the slightly longer Blaberus giganteus, this species easily outweighs giganteus by 170%. My personal favorite roach, nymphs are probably the largest proportionally of any roach. A slow breeder but easy to handle, this species is a must-have for any roach enthusiast.
Blaberus giganteus (Giant Cave Roach)- 5 small nymphs.

The longest species of roach in the hobby, adult females can push past 4 inches easily. This species prefers cooler temperatures. Nymphs prefer to hide and will rear up their abdomens like scorpions when disturbed. Yet another mainstay in the roach hobby.
Byrsotria sp. "Cuba" (Cuban Burrowing Roach)- 10 small nymphs, one pair of adults.

Often misidentified as Byrsotria fumigata, this species can be very prolific. They like a substrate of cypress mulch and coconut coir about 2 inches deep. Males show up in two forms; Long-winged and short-winged. Females are my second favorite roach, as they seemingly love handling. :p
Eublaberus sp. "Ivory white"- 5 small nymphs.
No photo available.
This brand new species has been in the hands of private collectors... Until now. Nymphs have more predominant spots than Eublaberus distanti, and the adults have white pronotums with a few black markings. Easy to breed, and great to look at, this is yet another great species.
Blaberus boliviensis (Double-Dot Roach)- 10 small nymphs, one pair of adults.

By far the prettiest of the smaller Blaberus, this species sports a woody elytra with a mostly black pronotum. In the center of the pronotum are two red dots, which look like beady eyes. This species reproduces as quickly as the common feeder species, Blaberus discoidalis. Females resemble B. discoidalis but are much fatter.
Pycnoscelus surinamensis *Parthenogenic* (Surinam Roach)- 20 mixed sizes WITH setup.

Although this species can become a nuisance by jumping from one roach culture to another, it is easily contained in a 32 oz plastic cup. This strain consists of all females and will produce rapidly at room temperature. The small nymphs are great to have around, just in case you need a small, squirmy bug to catch a hesitant eater's attention. The adults tolerate handling quite well.

All of these, shipped express to your door, for only $100!
