    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Pete is flat out awesome.  Not only did we have a super smooth transaction, he was more help to me then anyone ever before when it came to care of the animals.  Pete if you read this I just want to thank you a hell of alot again.  Thanks man.  Your top notch.

My interaction with Pete has been far less smooth. Back last year, I wanted to purchase a pair of sri lankan stars he had for sale on kingsnake. He kept making excuse after excuse (they were sick, etc etc) when he could have just flat out told me that they were no longer for sale. Ridiculous waste of time.

When I finally did make a purchase for a burmese star from him for $1300, he kept making excuse after excuse for "jury duty" blah blah, even after I sent him the payment. I waited a week to get the tortoise, and then just filed a claim with Paypal to get my money refunded. This guy is nice. He has definitely talked with me a lot about tortoises. However, he doesn't know the proper way to conduct business at all.
