    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

never dared get hets before cuz of the innate good faith & patience required til they mature and finally prove out, but found some for sale in the above linked ad by Pete. i really wanted his lemon albino, as he seemed so healthy & fairly priced too, but regretfully i couldn't afford to do so at these hard times, in the perpetual war economy and all.

so, gave Pete a call to check things out a bit. before i even committed to a research/ed/breeder purchase of some established hatchlings/juvies, he provided a reference for the source of his animals (morph breeder extraordinaire Gerard Siatkowski of FL?), where to send via paypal (Snakeknitter@#.com), gave me lots of advice on care and treatment of common ailments that i might someday encounter in my beloved livestock, and recommended some food (ie, zoo med growth formula, mealworms, aqueon shrimp pellets) and medicaments (ie, turtlefix, betadyne).

he sent me a text with the tracking# last nite and this morning bright & early i received a big box with carefully packed deli cups conaining lotsa moist spaghnum moss and the precious, plump turtle babies that i hope will prove out once they mature & breed in a few years or so.

perhaps will post update pic of them upon my return to FC (God-willing) in about 6 mos!
