    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Petopia Pets (Brent) Bad guy!

Not every transaction has been bad.

Just finished a deal with Petopia on a nice male carpet python. Nice looking animal or I wouldn't have even risked it. All went well. I think Brent is young and still has plenty to learn about the reptile business, especially interent sales, but I can't say that he screwed me. Just wanted to leave some positive feedback as well. I am sorry those other deals went bad for you guys.
 
Went by Petopia's retail storefront the other day. Very disappointed with the condition of all of their reptiles. The whole place smelled of urates and feces (could have been all the birds they have, though). Snakes in cages w/no heat, there was a boa that stuck out in the back - cage was filthy, there were 2 seperate old sheds in there and the boa itself had what appeared to be a moderate to severe case of mouthrot (could have been a rescue...but was on display nonetheless- 2 old sheds in the cage though?).

The owner is a very nice lady, I just think that their staff might need a little motivation to keep those cages cleaner and get the animals healthy.

I don't know if their mailorder sales come from a seperate operation in a different location, but I wouldn't ever buy an animal from that place considering its current state.

Just giving my own feedback to what has happened (business) with Brent and I in the past. Very quick payment, stayed up to date on instant message, and all went good. Like I said, this is my experience with Brent so if anyone feels differently, please don't reply to me about it. Take care all and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
 
There is more than 1 vinny

I saw the return about Me, Vinny Ferraiolo from Off The Ark Exotic Pets in Virginia, and a problem with a customer in New Hampshire. We have never sold or shipped any animals to NH. PLEASE check to make sure. There are a few other Vinnys (they spell their names Vinnie, Vincent and Vinny) out there. I have seen their names but do not know them. This Vinny from OTA Exotic Pets (804.717.2282), has an excellent reputation. I have screwed up some orders BUT I made them right long ago.

These sites really hurt. Not our business but me personally. We take great pride in our integrity in the local area and across the nation.

Those that read these adds think for yourselves and research the people and places that you do business with.

I came here to try and help friends.
 
Vinny, to help them would be to teach them not to misrepresent animals. In so doing it is considered scamming. When asked for proof of this cross, claims were made to have them but no pictures were ever loaded.

When selling proven breeders as they advertised it is best to have proof. The cross they claim is very shady at best.

I do business with a ton of people, just because I have had a few transactions that didn't go smooth out of all the transactions I go through a day, whether on KS, here, or at the numerous shows I attend, doesn't mean sh*t. Maybe to you, "detective no life". Bobby, I don't know what you are getting excited about, I forgot to post my full name, big whoop, I respect the rules, so I will try to remember each time. No body "Caught" anything, but if it makes you fell better, dang you got me sharp shooter. I do a lot of business and sell tons of reptiles at shows and to local pet shops and if you want to look at the couple transactions I messed up on go ahead, you are just one unhappy person Gino, I hope you one day find a motive that makes you happy to wake up to each day because there are other things other than blasting people on the BOI. The check is in the mail, believe it or not and Mitch will post when it arrives. I would get into why the Savannah's were shipped in the wrong box when I had someone pack them when I picked up some stuff in NH but it would only make things all the more fun for you to shoot the shyt with, so because of your maturity level, I will not even get into it. I do not need to rip someone off with a stupid box scam. I actually do ton of business and if you dint believe that, oh well. I can care less what you think of me because I think you are a lost cause, point blank. I do know how to use paypal, I just was always going by transferring funds electronically as most order I place like from wholesalers and what not, they run my card number, and all that over the phone. So wow buddy, you think your a detective, keep it up, your plant is really getting impressed watching you in the back ground, keep impressing your walls and those tiles on your floor. Mitch and I agreed on credit but my orders kept getting delayed and than I decided to give him his money back, so I do not know why you are riding on Mitch into the sun, but I took care of Mitch by sending out his money order, it was sent out priority and should be there tomorrow. I will find out from him tomorrow if it arrived. Until than, find out from Mitch you empty minded person, always interrogating me about things.

Hey Brent,

Dont get excited now, I dont want it to make you look bad. I do owe Mitch a check and sent it out a couple days ago. Although I agree with you on a lot of the comments about this very depressed man, I do owe Mitch a full refund for taking some one elses word on a bunch of snakes and sending them out the same day which was the rror in the transaction I learned the hard way. Not trying to intentionally rip someone off, but the peoblem in this situation si that I did in fact send Mitch the money order a couple days ago and if Gino wants to cry about his theory that is totally fine, just don't get all excited because it is not worth it in this case. take care everyone!

Jim, you are probably right. But, the fact remains that brent and aj are both established conmen (and gay lovers possibly, as can be seen in brent's anger).

I really do hope that Mitch's cheque does show up tomorrow. He seems like a nice, honest gentleman-to good to have been scammed by the likes of you.

Another mix-up on the Savannahs? Sure aj. Let me guess-your business partner did it. By the way, blaming mistakes on unknown (and heretowards unseen business partners) is another plank of the typical scammer defence.

Pay Mitch and issue a public apology.
 
I live in richmond, va not to far from pet topia and i have personally been in there store. the only word there is for that store is disgusting. almost all of there animals are wild caught's that have not eaten and they sell them as captive's. i have personally witnessed dead rotting rodents in snake cages's that they are offering them for food.they had a frill baby rainbow boa with a dead medium size rat in there for a week straight.no heat on ton's of bearded dragon's and there excuse was the light from the window they were next to is plenty for them. i hope they know that glass block's 90 percent of useful uv rays.they had a 40 gallon tank with about 50 ball python's no hiding spots for them some were near death. they had a baby tiger retic that had a dead eye due to mites and a cloaca infection due to mites also and they said that it was a genetic anomilly for the eye and still wanted 500 dollars for it.brent the kid has taken snake's to another pet store with their mouth's taped shut to get them sexed all beacuse he is afraid and has no idea what he is doing. for all the people that will hopefully read this and live in richmond and kn ow of this horrible store please do not shop or buy anything from them. this store needs to be shut down and those people need to be treated like how they have treated the animals they have there.
