    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Pets & Such

That is what a healthy tegu should look like.

I'm at a loss for your request, though. The credit card company is requiring this?

Have you asked the vet to write up an assessment of the condition the tegu was in, what was needed to address the issue, and what date they provided treatment? The date stamp on the purchase combined with the vet bill or a statement from the vet should be sufficient to put the pieces together... and avoid any breeder or pet store from being implicated for making an assessment on an animal they've never personally inspected.
Yes, I go through Umpqua Bank which is a Midwest located bank. They are smaller and pretty new. When I get home I can post the document that they sent me with the requirements for the charge back. I have called them and asked if I have to do the step of asking another shop or breeder from having to do that assessment and my bank did say yes. But I am working with them to show them the vet results, autopsy, and I am also going to attach the links to our story on both Tegutalk.com and here on faunaclassifieds to the documents that I send the bank. I have everything else on the list as well. I am calling them on my lunch to ask again.

I've known those guys to be reputable, I don't think they'll stiff you if you go back in and ask for a refund or exchange. Their staff might not be "experts" in all things hero's, but I think they're good guys.

Chris, they sadly have tossed this whole thing up to be "her loss", "she caused the Tegu to prolapse and die", "it was in prefect condition when she bought it, not their fault", and "no refund at all". I've watched this all over Facebook and on here now too. They have stood firm footed on the whole no refund or anything towards her.

Yeah, that's not right...

Yeah like lillyorchid said they have not even tried to compromise with us. Me and my boyfriend Dylan Westenskow. Even less than 24 hours after we bought him when we went back to the expo to talk to them and just ask that they pay the vet bill which was cheaper than he was. We also asked if they could just help with the vet bill. But they continued to avoid any liability or to even remotely say it could be anything but our fault. When one of the employees seemed sympathetic towards us that's when we messaged him the x ray and told him that the vet said it wasn't our fault. But the next day is when the manager lied and said "according to the vet report this, and the vet report that". They didn't see the vet report just the x ray and that it was not our fault according to the vet.

Heres the photos of our conversation with the only person who seemed really concerned about our situation.

No, but the vet that did it said that they did not want to be named due to having similar problems with people involved.
