I havent worked with phantoms before. I was just hoping that someone who has had experience with them before would be able to confirm that this is indeed a phantom? The on with it is a normal for comparison.

Thanks!

I seen it on fb also. I don't see it personally. Phantom and mystic are the same thing just different lines. Phantoms from Ralph and mystics from Anthony. Both are like dark mojos. This looks like one of Ian captive hatches which generally don't prove. I would gamble on it for $1500.

I've been thinking about getting into the phantoms for a while. Ralph Davis as far as I know has the only line of them. I'm not a 100% sure but I don't think the mystic has a super. The poison comes from mystic and mojo. Ive been looking at adds of phantom for a few years and alway ask where they bought it, if they have paper work, and if they've produced a super phantom. A lot of people say they have phantoms but have no super phantom to prove there gene. And most can't prove where the snake came from. It's like the spot nose. Ask people if they have a power ball before you buy a spot nose.

Funny to even think the guy would have a 2000$ ball with no paperwork from the seller.

I would not take the gamble on this one. Phantoms and Mystics are essentially the same gene. Both have a super form that resembles a potion. You can get either gene for fairly cheap now. I have seen males as low as 450.00. I am working with Mystics and produced quite a few last year. There are not that many supers out there available from what I have seen. Here is a pic of a Mystic I produced. If you are indeed looking for one buy from someone reputable so you can get the best example and your getting guaranteed genetics.

^^ Great advice Nick! If you have to wonder, hope, wish, pray, and post if it is or isn't... It ain't worth it!

Great lines will prevail in this 'game.' I think that separates breeders these days, people breeding any old thing, and then those putting out stock from nice quality, unique looking adults..

My .02 Cents and done.

Here's a snap of my Phantom Het Ghost, very similar to the Mystic posted.

Do sellers give paperwork for visuals too nowadays? I bought a $2k pastel mystic from Dan Wolfe last year and didn't get paperwork, guess I better go yell at him. Heck, it's hard enough to get even a receipt when you're buying hets. Buy from trusted breeders, and you won't need paperwork to verify what it is.

Yes, the mystic has a super which looks like a super phantom, and yes, with a mojo both make a potion.

Nice looking phantoms/mystics, guys.
