All Phelsuma standingi are captive bred and feeding well on crickets and occasional Repashy and fruit puree. All pairs are unrelated animals and lineage is documented for future line trades or sales. I wait to pair Phelsuma standingi unti they are 2.5-3 years old. They are a prolific, long-lived, large, and hardy Phelsuma. Hatchlings can also be reliably sexed out of the egg.
