From the people that I've talked to who go out and collect, apparently this spring (2012) and summer (2012) were the worst in a couple of years. Specifically for Phidippus Regius. They are hoping that this fall will be better, but no guarantees. Most of the normal websites I've looked at aren't carrying them this year at all. So there's hope, just not much of it. If you get wind of any, or even of any large jumpers, please post it here, it's much appreciated. And I'll do the same.
