    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

  It seems to be obvious to everyone except you that you are wrong about Josh and his business!!!  And you are causing some damage to his business!!  YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW THE LAST NAME OF THE PEOPLE!! THAT YOU ARE ACCUSING JOSH OF BEING!! Someone mentioned to go to the bank with the bad check and find out their last name. GOOD IDEA!!! You can also contact the city court house where the business was located and request the owners names of that business. I am pretty sure that it is public record. You might even be able get this done over the phone.  You are dragging Josh and his business through the mud???  And you don't even know the last name of the people that wrote you a bad check?<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>??  Have you turned that check in to your city or county attorney for collection???

well im up to 65 emails of people wodering about me, and still no 100% apology from dave, im starting to wonder if this ripoff that hes talking about even happened at all (having a check with no last name, come on .) and if you did take a check with no last name on it then thats what you get, ripped off.
i am gonna chill out untill tomarrow, and if i dont see a post from you dave saying that you are absolutly 110% wrong about your acusations. i will contact a lawer and see what i can do about losing this much business because of your lack of judgement and quick unfouned comments and warnings to people to "beware of me"
as you can tell people, i am losing my patiance with this guy.

Ok, this is my final post because:
A) I'm leaving for the weekend
B) The whole situation is making me sick

For the third and final time, I DIDN'T accuse Josh of ANYTHING, I posted an inquiry. Why did I post an inquiry? Because I had been ripped off by a company in Philadelphia called Exotic Pets that then dissappeared. Why did I think the company I was inquiring about might be involved?
A)The comany that ripped me off was called Exotic Pets, and Josh's company is called Philadelphia Exotics with an email address philaEXOTICPETS.com
B) They both were wholesaling reptiles
C)They were both from Philadelphia, and as it turns out Josh lives about a mile from where Exotic Pets used to be.

If you want more details read my posts again. I am tired of repeating myself.
If any of you had been ripped off by komododragon reptiles in NY for $900, and then one year later komodo Reptiles in NY opened for business,you just might be suspiscious. By INQUIRING, not accusing I hoped to shed some light on the situation. As far as I can tell there is no association between the two companies, and I SAID THIS ALREADY. Can I say with 100% certainty that there is no relation between the two? Could any of you do that? I don't know him, and have gotten zero information from this inquiry. I don't think he is involved but to say I'm 100% sure would be untrue. I truly wish some of Josh's customers would post and help clear it up. Josh an inquiry is not an accusation,
give your potential customers your references so they don't have to wonder. If you got 65 emails from people  wondering if something is up it's because there are lot of coincidences, not because I made an inquiry. I'm gonna say it again so everyone please listen up. I DON'T THINK JOSH IS INVOLVED!

Neil, It never ceases to amaze me how ridiculous many of your posts are. Evidently you feel you are "a force to be reckoned with" and your opinions carry great weight(as I'm sure they do with many of the people on this board). However I for one am positively sick of your "quick to codemn" attitude. I would have thought with your recent episode of sticking your foot in your mouth you would have learned not to be so quick to judge.
Joshua, Please do not take offense to the upper portion of this post. I too, feel that you should have been contacted first regarding this matter. However, in all honesty I probably would have still come to the Board asking for input(Granted I would have tried to be more tactiful and left off the part about being scammed). I wish you the best and would like to assure you that this thread would not dissuade me from doing business with you.
Dave, I personally do not feel that you started this thread with any malice, However I do think you should have stuck with simply asking whether or not anyone has done business with Joshua. I can understand becoming defensive after being bombarded by so many negative reactions to your post. But as much as I hate to agree with Neil, I too feel that an apology is in order.

hi joshua,have not done biz with both partys ,no ill will meant at all.but most people threating legal action {even when justifed have } have met a very bad reaction from all on board.i would limit talk about it here so as not to futher damage to what to me at least seems to be a honest man and a mistake.im not saying dont do what you have to but no need for anyone to hear about it publicly.you have also offered to help witch in my opion desvers more of an apolgy.im not a fan of more threads on a topic or planted posts but perhaps in fairness a biz inquiry should be done on phliadelphia exotics owned by joshua would be fair to let others see you have happy custmers.good luck to both of you guys common work it out ,a mans livilyhood is riding on it.

I PLAINLY state my opinions and let the chips fall where they may....if, I find out I made a mistake, or spoke too soon...I am the FIRST ONE to get on here and sincerely apologize! NOBODY has to TELL ME TO DO THAT! OK...MAYBE I went a little overboard, but...I was pissed off at the time for Dave's lack of compassion for another's livelihood....but, as far as violence?? I couldn't whip my way out of a wet paper bag!! Just ask anybody that knows me! I'm not claiming to be anything I'm not! But, there are limits to freedom of speech....IMO...the first thread by Dave was very malicious and hurtful and NEVER had to happen??            You affecting this mans way of life and if you had any inkling that he was part of the same organization then you should have done some checking on your own before posting ' BUYER BEWARE", at the very best it should have said " INQUIRY " , I dont think Josh is part of the rip off that happened to you , I also would apologize if I were in your shoes.  We all make mistakes and I am sure no one here will not ever make another mistake so ....... Be man enough to admit that you made a mistake and accept the help that was offered to you and take some of the suggestions made here in this thread in reference to possibly settling you claim with "Rose" & "Pat" and do what ever you can do to repair this mans good name, you will never erase doubt from some peoples minds because of the way you posted it, You really screwed the pooch on this one and Josh is the "Pooch" in this case.  No ifs ands or butts you need to make a retraction and the sooner the better and yes you did it before but this time without all the himming and hawing.

well i said i would calm down and not post anything till the morning, but i geuss thats the best apology i can get from someone of dave's caliber. and im sorry for living in the same zip code as pat and rose's store, and im not making any leagle threats however i do know there are laws about these things. and here are some recent names of people that i have bought from or have sold to (its been a slow week)
Tuwachua Serpent (allways sends my animals first before he gets payment)

i could go on and on  but these are the most recent people i have either bought from or sold to.
i am not posting these people for dave peace of mind (because at this point i really dont care what he thinks anymore) i posted these peoples names because i want everybody else to know that i have nothing to hide from anyone.

Well I am not one to get into peoples biz but when my name was put into this I had to jump in. I have been doing biz with Josh for a while now. I have sent this man animals worth several hundred dollars. He is a man of his word. I have not had any problem getting money. I would have to say to all that are having second thoughts of doing biz with him should think twice. Josh I hope all works out for you in the end.

Hey, I know Tomfromosu! He's a great guy! I won't bother contacting him as a reference for you Josh because I fully understand your situation. A few months back there was a HUGE thread about Brian Rogers SR. I almost had a stroke!!! My husband's name is Brian RoDgers Sr (with a D in the name)I am not a breeder or shop, but I do deal in reptiles on a small level. I do reptile rescue. and I also have a large personal collection that I occasionally do trades with. I know how powerful this board can be, so you better believe I posted a reply. Thankfully, this Brian Rogers is in another state far from NJ, where I am, so it wasn't difficult to show my husband wasn't the bad guy. I don't know when (because I am broke right now) but I do plan on coming up to Philly to see your place. Do you do trades at all? And after seeing your business, I would most definately post feedback for you. I can't remember if I got e-mail from you, or just picked up the link to your site or not, but I can say I was quite excited to find a nice shop that specializes in reptiles within driving distance of me. The only problem I have with Philadelphia Exotics is the sale of Common Boas (BCI) as Guyanians at the Havre de Grace show. They continued to sell them as Guyanian after I told them what they were. I had to explain this to one of their customers also later in the day when the kid saw a Guyanian on the JL Breeders table. I explained that the one on the JL table was the real deal.
The snakes they were selling were nice snakes, but not what they were being represented as.

i do remember you, you came to my table picked up a snake, looked at it, told me that you would be back.  stopped at my tables a couple more times, and then finally brought it to my attention that i had them mislabeled, (but you didn't bother to point out the Guyana red tails that were marked COMMON RED TAILS) were you?
and if you remember correctly  i had 2 teenagers  and my girl friend working the tables, which i reamed all of them out for putting the wrong lids on the containers. (my girlfriend still cant tell one red tail from another.).
4 Guyana's got sold from my table as common red tails, and 1 common red tail was sold from my table as a Guyana, and if i see the guy who bought it from me at the next show, ill gladly give him a Guyana in exchange for the common. I bet the people who knew they got over on me wont bring the Guyana's back to get common ones. im the one who lost out on that deal.


and dan,  i am in the process of moving to Allentown, but as soon as i get set up again, ill be sure to post the address on here, sometime in may.

Oh Josh...That must've HURT!! But, don't feel like, "The Lone Ranger"!! You've got COMPANY!! Any of you folks remember when good ole boy Jerry Tubbs mis-LABELED two packages and REALLY had a lesso learned?? But, you're right...he folks that bought the Guyana's as "normals" are LONG GONE WITH A SMILE ON THEIR FACE!! On the other hand...that's the right thing to do, IF you ever hook up with the OTHER guy!! ....Neil

Let me, reiterate. I am not trying to bash you Josh. You seemed like a descent person. I did not see any Guyanians at your table and that is what I was shopping for. I found them at the JL table. I am sorry I missed that or I would have pointed it out to you. I just reread my post and reallized I was a little harsh and I apologize. I am just on edge because of all the mislabeling that I've been seeing at the shows. I have a habit of coming down harsh and I do want to apologize for the way it sounded. You did seem like you cared when you asked what they were. I was a little annoyed when I saw the one kid say "Look at the Guyanian I bought" and I had to tell him it wasn't and then showed him the one at JL. I did tell him that it was a beautiful snake and the price was good for a common. You didn't rip him in price, it was just mislabeled. Are you going to be at the show in Havre de Grace on the 30th because I'd like to apologize to you in person. If not next time you're in Levittown let me know.

TC, yes i will be in maryland on the 30th, but no need to apolagize, im just glad that you wernt implying that i was intintianoly trying to get over on customers. (i try my hardest to see to it that all of my customers are happy 100%). and even at the shows i still try to talk to everyone who stops by my table, whether they buy an animal or not, ands thats pretty hard to do <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> .

and since you spoke to the guy who bought the red tail (i forget what he looks like) mabe you can point him out for me, ill make sure i bring at least one guyana with me to trade him, or if he wants ill refund the differance from what i sell commons for.

hey TC  i got a question for you,  do you know the bald guy that walks around with the younger kid, they are allways trying to trade snakes with people. i need his name.
