    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I saw this as a signature on another site and liked it so much that I brought it here for y'all to see. What do you think?

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- WOW--What a Ride!!!"

One of my favorite quips is:

"When I die, I want to do so like my grandfather did: in his sleep.

Not screaming and cursing like his passengers......."
:rolleyes:

Um... If he was driving, and the passengers were his relatives who were bickering and raising a ruckus in the back seat, then no wonder he got bored and fell asleep. :sleeping:

We've seen it worded a few different ways. All mean the same. Totally agree with any of them!!!! We were put here on earth to enjoy it, and so we shall!!!

This is pretty much how I feel about it and have lived most of my life accordingly. I have been put DOWN by so many people for it!

I have been told I'm careless, reckless, thoughtless, uncaring, unfeeling, suicidal, immature, and crazy. Told to live life slow and preserve the body for as long as possible. I figure it doesn't matter how long or safe my life was, as long as I was happy.

What would be the point of taking it easy? To reach an afterlife that possibly does not exist? Not knowing what awaits me after death is all the more reason to punish my mortal shell in the sake of fun, just in case their is only oblivion after life ends. Better to burn out than to fade away.
