In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Photo Contest.

Very simple, post a pic or 2 of your best shot of a frog or other amphibian.

1st Prize is a box of 1000 crickets from Ghann's Cricket Farm. :)

My pic here is not included in the contest.

Contest is over August 19,2008 7:00 pm.

Best of luck to you all.

Beautiful frogs. I don't keep amphibians anymore, but here's a shot I took of a wild Gray Tree Frog.

Thanks, Brandi. This photo keeps popping in and out of sight. Not sure what's up with that. My photo attachments seem to appear and disappear like magic.

I have posted this pic 3 times now, and it seems to get "mysteriously dysfunctional" real quick.

Oh well.

The site is having some server problems Bill, thats all. :)

Great pics everyone!

I don't keep amphibians these days, so I had to do this the old fashioned way...luckily, the toad population is making a bit of a comeback this year (I hadn't seen any little ones for the past 2-3, but a bunch of them popped up about a month ago - they make mowing fun, because I have to scoop them up and move them out of harm's way).

Found this little guy this morning, right around 6am

The fine folks at Ghann's Cricket Farm are kind enought to provide a box of 1000 crickets(any size) to the winner of this contest! :D

Exactly what frog people need the most.....Crickets.
