    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I tried to call the number but it goes straight to voicemail so I cant attach a name with the ad.

wow thats just sad. didn't even try to cut your watermark out. thats just overly bold right there.

Try to get a full name and location. I have heard back from the copyright attorney. This is gonna get pricey on my end... so not sure if I want to go forward... but the more info I have... the better off I am.

And the best thing from our convo thus far.... I have 3 years to sue from the date of infringement :D

I can't believe the blatant disregard for other people. I guess that's one way to try to pull off a scam... Next time might want to remove the watermark. :rolleyes:

So what are you going to do about it Kevin? Just keep trying to call them back until they answer then confront them?
 
Agree... I'd bet it'd be costly to go after copyright infringement, but weigh the possible damage to your business by having this guy associated with the name, and loss of revenue vs. attorney fees and (small and unlikely) restitution.

I'm not saying there is any association now, but there could be in the future depending on what this guy's actions are.

Im not to where I can get to my phone right now... so that will have to wait. I have contacted a copyright attorney about him, but not sure where that is going at this time. I do have the evidence should I decide to proceed with a lawsuit.

Is using my photos ILLEGALLY!! I have not granted anyone the use of the photos from my website www.ridgetopreptiles.com

They even left my business logo on the image. After further digging the iggy photo was taken from the web as well from a caresheet type site. Please remove this ad and bar the individual from posting other ads.
