    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I took some new pics of my 05 hatchlings today.
I wanted to take some pics of the smallest 4 together. But it was impossible to do that outside. So I did it inside. The pics didn't come out very well:

In the first picture you posted, they looked to me like leaves!!LOL, thats just their camouflage to blend in with their surroundings though. Nice Lizards you have there, thanks for sharing you pics with us!

Awesome! ;)

Thanks for the pics! I've never seen hatchlings that grey-ish color before. Are they the ones that would turn out orange? I have some hatchlings that I'm growing up from a pairing of an orange dalmation with a red patternless...and I'm wondering if there's any slight correlation between their baby colors and their adult colors....?

Beautiful babies!

yes, I expect them to turn out orange or red.
This are the parents of the grey hatchlings:

Hmm....that makes me wonder what mine are going to turn out like. My mom is a bit more yellow than your male...but my male is pretty similar to your female, if not a little darker. The babies seem to swing between being kind of grey, but most of the time they are a dark red/brown with blackish banding around them.

I guess only time will tell!

Thanks!

aww...very cute :)

yeah amanda, sometimes you can see a tint and hint as to their adult coloration but some can change a lot...my female aztec that's lt grey/dk grey with orange fire and white partial pin started out brown with white fire...
you can see on my baby page parents with more of their babies pictured under them to get an idea of what the parents might hatch out...although my 2nd colony babies aren't old enough yet for me to truly know so Oliver, Mushu and Aztec ones only have babies pictured and no updates of older ones b/c there aren't any yet :)
