Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

well, in order to keep this thread gecko related I took an updated pic of Nuri my Hybino from Kelli who is needless to say, turning more beautiful each day....although I may want to stop feeding him so much...he doesn't seem all that interested in dinner lol. Oh well I'm sure it'll be gone soon

And this is the newest member of the family, he's a black and tan (obviously) Cocker Spaniel with Champion bloodlines. I think I'll show him next year, I just need to get him into training this summer. I'm also gonna train him for what his breed was developed for, bird hunting and flushing. There's also a new dog park in my town so maybe he'll be an agility dog. Who knows...He doesn't have a name yet...ANY IDEAS??????? I'll take any suggestions, we can't come up with anything
 
He is gorgeous (Both of them actually). I love Blk & Tan Dogs! Not too good with names though so I can't help you out there :bolt01:
 
Awww...they're both so adorable! How about Bowser for the puppy's name? I've always liked that name for some reason. You just have to love those spaniels. :)
 
Cute cocker....american I'm assuming?....If so your chances of training him to hunt are slim to none.... They've been bred away from hunting for SO long that they literally have no drive to hunt any longer....there is one breeder in the country that I know of that is trying to breed the drive back in, and it appears to be very slow going.... American cockers have been bred for the show ring, english cockers can still be trained to hunt.
 
Well "Leo" might work all things considered ....
As a kid,one of our neighbors had a black and tan that they named "Cinder".
I'll keep thinking about posibilities.
 
Cute pup you got there. How about Maelstrom? Or would that curse you in the puppy behavior dept? Good luck with the training. Pups are definitely alot of fun and work.
 
no he's an angel so far and doing wonderfully on potty training. We may have come up with a name (Yeah, he's still nameless). No matter where you are in the house he chases after you, and if you're standing too close to the bed, he growls and attacks your toes, all playfully, but still...we've come up with 2 names

This is harder than I thought, I'm not used to naming male dogs, if it were female it'd have a name before I got it.
