In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thanks so much for looking!!!

Thanks so much! ;)
I know, I absolutly love the way the auratus show up in pictures. When the flash hits their skin, you can really see how shimmery they are.
They do look almost fake! I get "Dude, are those little frogs real?" a lot.
Lol - how silly would it be to actually keep little plastic frogs in a vivarium?
However, it might be funny to set one up among my others, and see if anyone actually notices!

Yes! I do too!
They are, indeed, twitchy little creatures!
Lol, the first time I ever saw their little toes twitching, I wondered if something was wrong with them!

Thanks for sharing! The auratus are just gorgeous! Looks like you have really nice set-ups for them too. Nice job!

Thank you Laura! ;)
I love my auratus! They were my first dart frogs. I just wish they weren't so shy!
Believe it or not, it wasn't easy to get those pictures! They run and hide from me when I come up to the tank. So I had to stand there really still until they came out of hiding.

For my next frogs, I think I might get some Costa Rican Green and Black auratus.
I'm wanting to breed darts, and both leucs and auratus are fairly easy to breed, and are great beginner darts. Then I want to get into the tinctorius species.
But I could go on and on about that! Lol :D

The black & green D. auratus would be a beautiful addition to your collection :)
One reason I love Panther chams so much are the color variations. Like living art.

Oh, yes! I've been wanting to get into chameleons!
The only reason I don't have one yet is because they seem to be so delicate and not so easy to take care of. But then again, they say the same thing about darts!
Also, I can't decide which species to start with.
:)
