    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yup, looks like a scam to me. Whoever posted it went to great lengths to make it look like a plausible ad, but the wording is just odd.

I'm not a member there, but can someone report it as a scam?
 
It would help the community if someone did.4 years back i would have tried purchasing it.

Scammers are getting desperate... they're actually writing full length ads with lots of love and showering.
 
WOW, there is so much about that add that screams SCAAAAM.

Even the math with the weight doesn't seem right. My albino hatched at almost 70 grams, and was all of 10.5 inches. The one they are offering is almost double the weight and only as long as my hatchling???

PINKY MICE, YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING. Pinky mice for even a hatchling ball is a snack, not a meal, are you feeding it every 3 hour or what.

I am in Minnesota, about 15 miles from Golden Valley, I will not waste my time even giving a reply to that ad.

I have gotten some animals from the reptile auction site, some time ago, and have been happy with the transactions at that time. However, it does appear to have become a site for people I would not want to deal with.

Since I am very close to this add, and could take full advantage of it myself, if so inclined, I say, Run Away.

Or send your money to me and I will just keep it and save you the trouble of trying to figure out if you got scammed.


As far as the convertion option for the cost of the snake. In Minnesota, $1 = $1. Just in case you were wondering

Well I used the buy it now function through western union.. I’m awaiting the email from them now and will inform them I live in ST. Anthony which is only 40 miles away and will be picking it up tomorrow evening. I’ll be sure to post the details of what happens. Should be fun here.
 
Just my luck.. I also get a free albino ball with the pied since I used the buy it now feature. Only 2 small problems, the phone # on my invoice is disconnected, and the address does not show up on map quest as a good address. I went ahead and sent them another email that this is such a great deal I’ll kick in another $600.00 and get 2 of each

Hey Jim.. did you get to go meet up and pick up all your snakes yet? LOL. Did you get any excuse at all from them as to why they won't allow you to come pick them up?
 
Sloanman - something I've been wondering about since you started this thread.
Why post it in the classifieds here? This is where people look when they want to buy something, and you could have sent them to a scam.
 
I think it's fitting to be here, because people who are looking to buy are the ones who will see it, and they are the ones who are in danger of getting scammed. *shrug*
 
Purely out of morbid curiosity I am going to try to connect with this seller and see what they are up to. I live 30 minutes from the supposed seller and I like to pick and mess with things so we'll see what happens.
