    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Rosie is a sweet girl Bearded Dragon whom we just bought a few days ago. Something must be wrong, she is tired and isn't eating-i don't know why! Please Help! :)

Start off with the standards. What are her conditions? What's her basking temp? What's her cool temp? How big is the enclosure? How big is she?

She is only 3 months old, the basking light has a 72 watt bulb, she is 9 inches long, and the enclosure is 10 gallons-yes we are moving her into a bigger tank today.

Sorry I'm answering late-my job! She is 3 months old, 9 inches long, the basking light bulb is 72 watts, and she is in a 10 gallon enclosure-yes today we are moving her into a larger tank!

Use a digital thermometer or a IR gun thermometer and take the basking temperature, do the same for the cool side.

A 72 watt bulb in a 10 gallon tank may just be keeping the entire enclosure too warm.

I don't know much about beardies, but I do know that temps and conditions are important.

It may just take him a few days to get used to his new accomodataions. Just make sure to keep offering a variety of greens & veggies (mine are particularly fond of cooked & mashed butternut squash and fresh raspberries) as well as a variety of feeder insects and he'll come around eventually. If you've got the $, butterworms are great for getting some interest with a picky eater. Same thing with hornworms, but those huge suckers put up a fight -- the butterworms are just perfect little tender morsels. Good luck!
